Well I have been on this thing for over a week now and I have lost 10lbs. Truly think that most of that is just water weight and that this week ahead will be the real deal as to whether it's going to do anything more for me than what I could just do for myself. The weekends are a challenge for me for sure so I am hoping I…

mark996- yes putting life on hold is always the hard part of any diet. i know this wont' be something diet wise that i will be able to make a lifestyle habit, but it is helping to be more aware and keep my portions low. thanks for your comments.

angiephx- you do the injections yourself? i thought you could only get injections by prescription only. yes, i am right where you are as far as starting about the same time and the same amount of weight loss. i feel the same way about if i don't start to feel less hunger pains i wonder how i can keep going. i thought the…

kristie874- thank you for your input, i really appreciate all the info out there. it is so interesting to me because i thought all of those things too before going on the diet , i thought 500 calories a day would make anyone lose weight, and whether it is taken from muscle, or fat is the real science behind it all. i don't…

Thank you so much for sharing your success story Safetypins. I feel the same way that it has helped me to realize how much I have been eating and how in my whole life I have NEVER been this disciplined in WHAT I eat! I have lost 5lbs already and we shall see, one week will be Wednesday.

Yes supposedly it is the hormone that your body produces when pregnant that feeds off your fat rather than every meal you eat. It makes sense, the science behind but whether you can get your hands on the "real deal" outside of a prescription is still questionable to me.

It is definitely a discipline to eat the low calories that they require. I like the no exercise aspect although I know that, that is not healthy as a lifestyle. I am finding it hard, but I feel like I spent so much money on the drops that if I cheated I would only be cheating myself. I honestly don't notice being any less…

I could understand how hard it would be to maintain a low calorie diet like this for a lifetime. I do fear that I will gain it all back but my plan is to gradually amp up the little exercise that I like and hope for the best. Thanks for your input.
