nuttinikki - I just saw a nutritionalist and she gave me an amazing little booklet that is for diabetics (although I am not) because I tend to eat way too many carbs (and may be reason why I have more fat in my belly- she thinks the extra carbs are causing bloating)...anyway, the booklet listed all of the foods in each…

Great advice- I will do a manual as well- I am trying to decide if I am going to switch out the Polar FT4 for another Polar Ft4 or go with a sportline
-
I currently use Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 in Vanilla, which I LOVE, but I am wondering if I should switch to something else as it is kind of high in calories, 280 to be exact in two scoops, so I generally just use one schoop, but then not getting all the protein I would like to get

Going to make this tonight! Thank you.

Not 5', but 4' 11, my goal is 110-115

I am positive that it is not working properly. After three workouts, it is saying my average hr is 187 and my high is 196. I am not even to the point of breathing extremely hard- at 187 I think I would be panting. I called ****'s Sporting Goods where I bought it and thankfully they are going to let me exchange it.

Thank you! You just reminded me I have tuna salad in the fridge I made yesterday morning! Perfect Thank you to everyone else as well- Some good ideas for when I have defrosted meat (I try to stay away from defrosting in microwave because I always defrost too long and burn the food.

Because I am eating WAY too many carbs... my ratios are around (p)25%, (f)25% (c)50%.. not good

The thing that has helped me with my plantar fasciitis is working out barefoot and to also stretch my feet very good before exercising and before bed. I like to roll my foot over a tennis ball or another smaller firm ball for about 8-10min per foot. I also will stand on a step with just my toes as far out as I can and do…

bump to read later (unless you have additional advice on those who are hypothryorid on how to adjust calories) Thank you

bump to remind myself to read this when I get home from work

I start week 5 tomorrow. I don't think I am ready for Month 2, so I may do one more round of Month 1 before moving on after recovery week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Insanity though

I apologize frostie, but it was your last sentence of " It's really not all that difficult." that made it seem you were being a bit rude, at least to me. I apologize if you did not mean it that way
-
Absolutely nothing. It is a hallmark holiday (besides, don't I deserve something everyday anyway ;) )

No reason to get snippy frostie. Not everyone is familiar with HRM- if you can't offer advice without the snarkiness, then don't offer it at all, at least on my threads. Thank you loopy- that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks as well Amy

I just wish I would have researched this watch more. I have come up with several people having the same complaint as me about calories burned being off. Also, why a full manual is not included with the watch is beyond me. No one from Polar answers any questions on their own website forum. Even the manual says that they…

I don't trust Applebees 550 menu. For one, they already have had issues before about claiming certain meals where under 500. For another, one chef may use more oil than another, or slightly more pasta than another. They don't have time at restaurants to be weighing out food exactly. And the sodium (two at almost daily…

Doing what you are doing is damaging your muscles. If I ever had a nutritionist and personal trainer suggest to me what yours did to you, I would fire them both. Your body needs more than 900-1200 calories a day, ESPECIALLY with exercise
-
You look great!! 20lbs off sure changed you a lot. I love the pants in your after photo- where did you get them? Congrats! You really do look good
-
You look AMAZING!!! Would you mind sharing your meals because I would love to see what you eat- I so want a stomach like yours, and I mean the after picture, because I have the before

I am 4' 11" . Haven't seen 110lbs since before I was pregnant, which was almost 4yrs ago :(

My commissary didn't have any of the suggested brands in. They didn't even have my Fiber One bread in today :( Ended up getting Natures Pride 12 Grain. I couldn't find any bread under 110 calories there and all the "light" breads in stock had HFCS. Bleh

Sorry, I will definitely be sticking to my Voss water...tap water, especially the high chemical water here, can not compare to Voss
-
My son will love this.. thank you :D

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I have been trying to find something to replace my much missed Dunkin Donuts Large Iced Coffee with Half Cream and Half Sugar... this may do just the trick
-
I do the same thing but instead of a sprinkle of cinnamon, 1tablespoon Nesquik and I don't add ice because I use frozen bananas. So yummy

I am so excited... I found wonton wrappers at my local Commissary!! Now what I am making tomorrow- woohoo!!
