I had the surgery in January and went through full rehab so I am not using Insanity as my rehab technique. It's just not 100% yet. In general if you run 5 days a week 20 minutes a day from start you can get there in about 6 weeks. 20 minutes a day can be intervals for a while though such as 2 minutes jog 1 minute walk.
