Well, you won't gain weight if that wonderful gooey delicious peanut butter parfait fits into your calorie goal for losing weight.

I knew aged cheese don't have lactose, but I didn't realize it was cheese aged over 30 days. Thanks for the info.

Chris, Congratulations on your weight loss! Did you try on other suits as well? We all look good in some clothes, and not so great in others. Maybe try a different brand of something. That said, 40 pounds since May 1 seems quick-isn't that about 13 weeks, or about 3 pounds a week? (please correct me if I'm wrong). In any…

Nope. It's all about what works best for you. I know people who eat one large meal a day, and other people (me) who eat 5 or 6 meals, and both groups do just fine.

Fitness is important, but not to losing weight. Think about all the people who cannot exercise who have lost weight and maintain.

I think I'm going to take joke lessons or something.
-
Bummer. I have been eating Cabbot lactose free cheese which is delicious.
-
That's a lot.
-
Oh no, you didn't get my joke! That's another butter. Not the real thing.

I believe you can see your profile views under your notifications interface. I get a lot of blank friend requests too, but my profile says to say why you want to friend me.

Whoa! I had no idea real butter Pam spray had that many calories!

Dat's a nudder budder.....

Yep. No matter how you choose to arrange your dietary plan, it has to be sustainable for you.

This. A few times when I was on my weight loss journey, I did buy clothes in my goal size that I was able to eventually get into....and found I didn't like them! Now, I just buy the size I wear. :)

I agree with this. I love exercise. I weight lift, I run 2-4 times a week, I do the elliptical cross trainer too. I love to go on long walks sometimes too. In fact, I have always loved to exercise, even when I was fat. I weight lifted, ran, and walked and gained 33 pounds over a 3-5 year period because I ate too much, not…

I have not had that problem, but I delete every single blank friend request unless we've had good forum interaction and we think similarly about weight management issues, and I don't always accept requests that contain messages. In other words, I'm pretty darned choosy, but it's nothing personal against anyone. However, I…

I'm lactose intolerant as well, and the only two things I can eat are butter and some brands of yogurt. If I eat ice cream, or cream of any kind, or regular cheeses (that are not lactose free), I have some major problems. But, not with butter.
-
Whether or not you use fake butter or real butter is personal preference. Me.....I like REAL butter.
-
I agree. If you are going to rest, that means no light anything. There is nothing wrong with just lazing around and enjoying the fact that you choose not to exercise today.

Am I misreading? You are applauding her for eating net 1000 calories? I hope that is tongue-in-cheek, because I don't applaud her. No way.

This.

Well, if you're gaining weight and inches at the same time, then you are eating too much. Some could be water retention from the exercise and change in dietary plan, but I've never heard of increased inches with water fluctuations. If you are eating at a deficit, you won't be gaining muscle except for slight newbie gains.…

Actually, you are correct that I misread. However, the point is that you will lose weight whether or not you exercise as long as you are in a calorie deficit.
-
You got it about right. :)
-
Tiger, you are missing the point. The original conversation is about exercise being essential to losing weigh, not about whether exercise creates a deficit. Exercise is not requires to lose weight.
-
Coreect, but it is not necessary. ;)

Weight loss happens in the kitchen, fitness happens in the gym. I love to exercise , but I don't need it to lose weight, I just need a calorie deficit.
-
No they don't.
-
No need. The inside of your body is not dirty. The only benefit is to the person selling the cleanse. Yep, you'd lose water weight, which would come back once you started eating normally again. :) Save your......
