That's my problem area, too. Try going running. I've found that anything over a mile two or three times a week sheds fat really quickly in your stomach and you thighs. Along with that, you should do some sit-ups and...my absolute favorite -- crunches!

When I go for morning runs, I don't normally eat before. And I drink only a few sips of water, or I will get a side ache. Or have to pee half way through. Also, after working out we are generally more satisfied with less food. So that's a plus. :) But make sure you don't cheat yourself after your run because you have just…

Oh gosh, the same thing happened to me. I am basically part camel. But recently I have been trying to drink more water. At first I was peeing sooo much, but you will adjust in a week or two. Also, it might help if you slowly increase your water intake. Then you won't be running to the bathroom every five minutes while your…

Well, I am a vegetarian, so I kind of have to count my veggie calories! ;) Also, if you count everything then you get a more accurate reading. Veggies do, indeed, have calories, and even the little things like a handful of popcorn here and there slowly add up. But don't cut your veggies to cut your calories, because they…

I think as long as you are not feeling sick or weak, getting headaches, or losing weight too fast, you are getting enough calories. I am normally under my set calorie intake by between one and four hundred calories. I exercise a lot (I'm a dancer, and I just started running, as well), and I guess my body is just built…

That's funny, I just started doing that! My sister and I make fruit smoothies with greek yogurt and then make them into popsicles. They are very few calories, filling, and a yummy sweet snack! High five for inventiveness!

That's right, don't factor in fruit because that is natural sugar. This plan is meant to limit the amount of processed sugar you consume. Natural sugar is actually very good for you. And besides, you can never have too much fruit!

If you are planning on fitting lots of fun in, then I think you will be fine on the weight loss. And when there is a healthy food option (which there almost always is), then take that. And it's always ok to take a break from the diet. Just make sure you are still health and weight conscious on that break.

I would say don't factor in natural sugars in that sugar counting thing. My mom is very natural and always stresses how natural sugars and fats are good for you (fats in moderation, of course), but try to stay away from processed sugars and fats. I'd say go for the fruit salad, wonderful choice!

I just LOVE spaghetti squash! Just make sure you cook it long enough (but not too long!) or the texture will be a little funny. I normally eat it with a little olive oil and salt and pepper.

Fruit is absolutely the best snack, since it is healthy, nutritious, yummy, and often zero or negative calories! When I'm hungry, I just grab a pear or apple and I'm good until the next meal. Also, Yasso makes these amazing frozen greek yogurt bars that are only 80 calories, and are absolutely delicious. You should try…

I've found that you can replace bread with a rice cake much of the time, and just about anything pasta with brown rice. And if you just HAVE to have a sandwich, try having it open faced, which cuts out half the bread. I recently went gluten-free, and they do make some pretty good gluten-free bread if you want to try it.…

One thing that has really helped me out is getting a friend or family member to work out with you. I actually got most of my family started on a running schedule just last week! Also, if you feel hungry and need a snack: fruit, fruit, fruit! Fruit is very good for you (duh), and is often zero or negative calories! And…

Try snacking on fruit in between meals. A lot of fruits are zero calorie or negative calorie foods (they take more calories to digest than you get from eating them).

Oh my gosh, same problem! I just LOVE food!! My suggestion is to find a buddy to work out/diet with, so you have some support. Also, maybe pick out a super cute swimsuit and tell yourself that you can't buy it until you have lost a certain amount of weight. I have done both of these things, and it has really worked for me.…

Dieting becomes an eating disorder, in my opinion, when you will do ANYTHING to lose weight, even if it means malnourishing yourself and losing even muscle mass just to drop a few pounds. Or, again, if you are letting the way you look absolutely control your life. I think you are doing just fine, as long as you don't make…

If you weighed yourself at different times of the day, or in different degrees of dress/undress, that can make a huge difference. When I was little, we did an experiment with weight and weighed me before and after dinner, and there was a 5 lb difference! So this can all cause variance. But... you really could have lost 5…

ANY tea is great, as long as it's not full of sugar and milk. ;) You can also drink soy or almond milk instead of eating a snack, as those are more filling.

I have a slight sensitivity to wheat, so I don't eat it anymore except on occasion. It was really hard at first, but after a month I got used to it, and now i don't crave it anymore. More people are wheat intolerant/sensitive than you would think. I'd say it's worth a shot. it will make you feel so much better. Also, if…

Yes, they WILL make you fat if you eat too many, because they are empty calories. They have no nutrients, which means that your body will just store them as fat. So be careful, and think about whether you really want to eat all that yummy emptiness or fill your tummy with food that will make you healthy and help you lose…

Well I'm a dancer, very light boned, and the most I've ever weighed was 130 lbs. My ideal weight is closer to 120. Now before you say anything, I am NOT anorexic, and I am not super duper skinny. I have a fair bit of muscle, and while there is not a huge visible difference, I can feel the difference. My performance is…

MFP tells me I should consume 1200 calories a day, but I am almost always under that. That is not bad as long as you are eating good, healthy food. You know your body better than the computer does, so if you think that is all you need, that is probably all you need. Just make sure you are getting the proper nutrients and…

I have always drunk whole milk, because there's nothing like the real thing. But I don't drink much of it, because milk isn't actually good for you in any form. I know it is a base, but your body treats it as an acid. Your bones have to pull calcium out to counteract it, so getting calcium from green vegetables is actually…

Funny thing, my mom is like the queen of poop! She is always lecturing us on how it can say so much about a person's health, and it can! Make sure you eat lots of fiber, which will help move everything down, although it could make you a little constipated at first. But that just means it is doing its job. Also drink lots…

I haven't ever had experience with this really, but my advice would be to do some strength training along with your cardio. This way, you can build up muscle in your legs and tighten them up. Other than that, just wait. The skin is stretched, and it will take time to snap back into shape. But you'll get there, don't you…

One thing that might help is doing cardio, or upping your cardio. Also, eating fewer calories than the site prescribes. I know that I, personally, would gain weight on their calorie prescription had I not just started running. Another important thing: it's not so much the QUANTITY of what you eat, but the QUALITY. If you…

I have definitely seen worse, and you honestly don't look that bad. But in my opinion, if you aren't comfortable in your swimsuit, you won't have any fun. I just got a new swimsuit that is really more like a sports bra just because I want to be able to run around and play at the beach! So if you are going to be…

You will definitely get used to it. I used to consume (and I'm guessing here) somewhere around 2000 calories. Then I started tracking what I ate, and am now down to under 1200. At first I felt sooo hungry, but I brought my calorie intake down slowly, and now I don't feel hungry. It was surprising how little food I really…

I am a dancer, just starting to run (yay!), and I have found just the right way to limit my water (for me) while working out so that I don't get side aches. At dance, I take just a couple of sips every once in a while, but I don't drink any water when I run. I drink plenty of water the day before, and then stash my water…
