So far I've lost 62 pounds but I've still got it! It's "shrinking", so to speak but its not gone at all. I dont think it ever will. What kind of exercises are people using that are helping??? Be specific please, for those of us who need "Belly Exercises for Dummies". :o)

For a long time i told almost no one (ESPECIALLY family members) that i had changed my eating habits because i wasnt interested in listening to their "helpful" comments. I've now lost 62 pounds and most people now know that i eat differently. Some do occasionally try to add their two-cents when they feel the need but my…

Love this!!!! I always chuckle at how "unhappy" we all look in our before pictures. I thought it was something done on purpose until I took my first real picture that showed i'd lost a bunch. I was beaming!! I went from frumpy to fabulous and I'm not even done yet! You look AMAZING! I love the dog food idea! I did one with…

You look INCREDIBLE! Awesome job!!

I'm pretty short. People didn't start saying things to me until I hit about 40lbs

Looking forward to trying this!! Thanks

Looking forward to trying these! (and thanks for the explanation of MSF Griller's....I didn't know what they were either!)

Thanks for posting this! I love GBC but I've avoided it since I now avoid wheat. I can modify this recipe, however, and make it work! Cant wait to try it!! :o)

Not silly (or small) at all! I've found the same thing in my fingers.... and my feet! How weird is that!?!! LOL

I love these but have a terrible time trying to find them in any of my local stores! :o(

One of the things I do with stuff like this (especially salad dressing but it works for things like syrup too) is to have it in a separate bowl and I dip my fork into it and then pick up my food with the fork. The amount of dressing/syrup is substantially decreased but the flavor is still there. You will be surprised how…

These lists are great! Here's a few of my fav's to have around: Egg substitute: REALLY low in calories and works great on those evenings when I want to eat something but don't have many calories left. You can also split it with a real egg and it has better flavor but less calories than two real eggs. Canned Beets: One of…

I independently stopped eating grains when I started this journey ~6 months ago. I started by eliminating "large quantities of wheat"....at least that's what I told my head. Basically, I avoided bread, pasta, sweets, etc. Anything wheat based. I also decided not to replace it with non-wheat substitutes for the most part as…

In the beginning, I didn't buy new clothes either but I looked like a baggy elephant after awhile. Once I did buy new cloths, I was amazed at how great I felt! I looked better and felt better. It made a TON of difference to have clothes that fit that were smaller! I've lost fairly consistently, so I've had to buy several…

When I hit my goal (100lbs) I am buying my "lost weight" in lobster and having a huge Downeast Lobster Bake with my family and friends. I think I'll throw in 100lbs of clams too! After all, it's my favorite food, low in calories, and fantastic fun when shared with family and friends! :o) Oh! And a new wardrobe....... :o)

I love that when my husband hugs me now, his arms can go all the way around me! <3

I SO know how you feel! I still feel like I'm the same because my shape is still similar even though I have lost a bunch of weight. I can see the difference in how my clothes fit but then I still see the similar shape. BUT when you compare the before and after....WOW! what a difference! You are doing such an awesome job…

Excellent job!! Way to go!!

Awesome!!!

i've lost 59lbs in about 5 1/2 monthes. I stopped eating wheat, started exercising, and counting calories. I feel great!
-
Love it! I have the same style pics: so unhappy in the first one and radiant in the latest one! I used to think they were "staged" but now i know that it is real and it is great to feel good about myself! YOU LOOK AWESOME! GREAT JOB!!

I started using MFP and have stayed under my calorie limit 99% of the time. Biggest change I did was I stopped eating wheat and I don't replace it with non-wheat items. Wheat really isn't a good food; it is addictive, makes belly fat, and makes you feel lousy. I feel a MILLION times better not eating it. In fact, I avoid…

You look amazing!!! I am having the same trouble as you. Even though ive lost a lot, i still see the same shape and the same me in the mirror. But then, i look back at where i was and i realize i really HAVE come a long way! Dont lose hope! You are getting there and you look fantastic!!!

Quite honestly, you need to pick guys that have the same goals as you-healthy eating, exercise, etc. My husband is the cook at our house. He now cooks our meals to fit with my dietary changes. He also eats those meals. He may not stick to it exactly as i do, but when he is cooking he takes into consideration those things i…

I started MFP about 5 1/2 months ago and so far I have lost 54lbs. I still have a long way to go but here are my stats: Height: 5'4" SW: 245 CW: 191 GW: 145

You look wonderful! The thing I always enjoy the most is the look of happiness on people's faces. I am experiencing that now myself! I used to think that the before and after pictures were "staged" the first to look unhappy and frumpy and the latter to look happy and upbeat but I have found the same is true in my pictures…
