My husband and I did it a couple of years ago with no training. You can easily do it. It's only 3 miles and you are never running more than half a mile at a time because of the obstacles. The obstacles are no biggie, and if you can't get over it on your own complete strangers will help. It was so much fun, we have moved on…

I was working out with weights prior to starting keto, and I have continued the entire time I have been on it. Other than the first week/ keto flu tiredness I haven't had any problems. I make sure to have protein as soon as I'm done. Just ease into it, and I think you'll be fine.

I wear a HRM, but more use it as a goal. I naturally have a higher pulse than most people, so I don't "trust" that I am actually burning that many calories...but I aim to get to 700 cal a workout, so that I'm consistent.
