Thanks this girl is always hungry! IF helps me keep me from tasting.

so like, the second I try to limit calories at all. dang no wonder it is so hard for me to lose. My hunger cues must be all messed up for me to be so overweight. And yes, they definitly are. I guess the ol body wants to stay fat.
-
I also want to include other things I`ve fallen for. like, my body doesn`t know when it`s thirsty or hungry and that eating 6 small meals a day revs my metabolism. do you know how hard it is to just eat 5 almonds for a meal/snack. sigh...
-
Yes it`s maintaining.
-
wonderful curious as to how many calories you usually eat per day.... Just for an idea.
-
No way! you`d think they`d take your money however they could get it. And then the shirt off your back too.

What I mean when I say nobody knows the answers is. Each person has a different idea of how much to exercise. One person says for a person who is reasonably fit walking for one hour isn`t enough.Leslie Sansone, ( of the walking vids) says it is. The government web sites say it is. The government has been wrong before eh??…

I get, do whatever exercise you want, keep doing it and eventually you will see if you need to do more or less. The waiting for the weight to be off gives me too much time to ask questions that no one knows the answers to.
-
I love your sarcasm. Your point is.... any exercise is fine and no recovery time is ever needed? Or walking is not exercise? Cryptic=fun!
-
Sorry no, the question is how much exercise is too much? I walk, but others run 30 miles a week and strength train. Many MFPers are almost olympic class athletes. Some people say I am doing too much cardio.
-
Wow! You all exercise sooo much! I walk 4 to 5 days a week, hour or two at a brisk pace. I throw some push ups and planks in for good measure. I do something active on the weekends with family. An hour hike or a day snowboarding. I was thinking I exercise too much because it is hard to fit in with my work schedule. You…

Also Tom points out, diet means missing out on your favorite foods. Nutrition also means missing out on my favorite foods, since they are mostly devoid of nutrition. I love exercise but I am still overweight. Why? because I eat too much.

Every one knows everything. Till the next study comes along telling you what you want to hear.

Are you a divorce lawyer? Marriage or not marriage. Finding a partner who loves you and you love is great. Being happy is a choice.

He`s got the goods. Family isn`t used to you. Fat skin pouch. You`ve done a great job getting this far. Now it will take that year or so to work on muscle mass. Get to where you want to be first. Only you made the journey, point out the healthy body fat percentages to your family, and revel in the fact that you are a…

everyone`s right when they say, just do this. But my road has been rocky. I`m finally coming to grips with how little wine I will be allowed in order to lose, well, don`t we all have to think of a reason. I`m sure you could come up with a good one.
-
I love it when people say, "Your taking this way too personally." I guess you wouldn`t have started the topic if your weren`t going to be passionate about it. And is taking something personally really wrong? You were obese, your on a fitness site having a whole country against fat can be a bit disheartening.

I`m sure I`ll have a great day after that comment.

I got one last week. Yes, it is a good idea. Unfortunately it is still next to my skinny husbands big dinner plate. I do find it helps a lot when eating alone. I have to keep saying to myself, I am overweight because I eat too much, he is not overweight he can eat what he wants.

Yes, I think this is what I need. I think food and wine, is a reward for a long day. I need something else that I love just as much. I don`t know what that is yet. And I have made myself feel bad about my body my who life. First family members did it for me and then I did it to myself. I`ve read many books on the subject…

I am not really hungry, I use food and wine as a reward. Most nights it`s fine but I still feel the loss of my go to relax time. It was like an excuse to relax. Otherwise I never take that time. It is a good lesson that I was using food to make me happy instead of appreciating my family (kids) or just really enjoying the…

oh thanks ladies, this must have been slowing my weight loss down. Good to know.
-
thank you!!! An honest answer actually relevant to the question asked!!!
-
Not asking what I am doing wrong, I am losing. finally getting started on the right path but I am not feeling it yet. I am asking how to feel good and find a new friend in all of this. A new friend besides food. Let`s be honest depriving yourself of things you love never feels fun at first. does it??? How do you change a…

No question about intake. What may I ask is legit or not legit on forums? Not a troll, asked a psychological question. Arrrgh!!!! Hmmm overly judgemental without reading OP.
-
didn`t ask for advice about intake. Hitting intake targets. Asked about how to feel better about stopping doing something you love and what to do to fill the void. Motivation and support. Not negativity and discouragement. Again, psychological question. Not about intake!!!!!!!

You are not alone, life can be a mixed up bucket of difficult sometimes. You`ll get through it. Remind yourself of the reasons your doing what you do. You got this one life to live. You`ll live it the best way you can.
-
Really?? Because you look awesome!!!!
-
Yes, please go. I hope you are feeling better now.

Yes, I eat and drink wine at the end of the day. It is associated with my chill time. Now I have to find something else to do to chill. I have been able to do it so far. I just don`t feel happy. Seriously, you have to force feed yourself to get to 1500, dang, how did you get to that point. Were you instantly a diet genius?…
