My miles for last week were terrible because of being out of town for a funeral, 2 days of travel with no time to walk, yada yada yada...so I'm going to add the extra to my highest week's miles and not last week. Great challenge idea, by the way. I'm having trouble getting all the miles in too. :)

Ditto. I watched a couple episodes but all she used was sugar-free this and fat-free that. It sounded gross and not very healthy. I haven't watched since.

I was down 3 lbs when I weighed in on Friday, so I've already exceeded my challenge goal of 12 lbs by 2.5 lbs. Yay!

I was down 3 lbs this week. Ate a bit too much Halloween candy over the weekend though. My grandmother passed away yesterday afternoon, so I'm not sure how I'll do this week. I have to go back home for the funeral this coming weekend.

I'm in! I have a pedometer that is collecting dust now, so I'll drag it out and start using it. I'll wear it for the next couple days and see where I'm normally at and then figure out what my goal will be for the challenge. :)

I'm down 2 lbs for the week. Ate well all week except for yesterday, when I had lunch at a friend's house and dinner (and dessert) at my brother and sister-in-law's house. My stomach felt crappy after eating the bad-for-me food too. I've never really had that happen to me before, even on other diets when I'd eat healthy…

I will be walking on my lunch breaks on the nice trail by the water...whenever it's not raining. I had a miserable day Friday sitting at my desk all wet from my walk in the rain. :p I go about 3 miles when I can get out there.

Congratulations! I think you can keep up with most of your workout routine as long as you don't develop any issues, but definitely check with your doctor too. And walking is always good. :)

Yeah, I'm not that far under on my calories, so I know I'm eating enough. And the junk food...I got back from my lunchtime walk and one of my co-workers had bought me a cookie from the bakery next door and left it on my desk. Argh! That sucker is going in my bag and going home to my kids. ;)

I did some of my jumping jacks, but not all of them. Did about 16 miles. I ate a fair amount of veggies, although I don't think I managed raw ones every day. :p I stayed under my calorie goal every day and exercised, and still managed to GAIN 2 lbs. this week. Ugh. For me personally, I get discouraged when I see too many daily fluctuations (which is normal) so I force myself to weigh only once a week, on the same day, at the same time of day.
