What must one do to get a defined jaw?

That is an insane amount of sugary, and likely fatty, empty calories. Bravo to you for staying strong and resisting the repeated temptation. I don't think anyone who eats multiple desserts throughout the day would stay "normal" weight for long. Isn't that how a lot of us ended up here?

Many moons ago when Atkins was all the rage, I did that (no more than 15 g carbs a day). I lost weight quickly but it was so not worth it. I was not pleasant to live with. The weight came back super, super fast when I stopped doing it, much quicker than with a "normal" diet. For me life is way too short to give up carbs.

I mix chocolate Cheerios with peanut butter Cheerios, but I have it as a snack at night. A serving size isn't enough to get me through the morning. Healthy? Meh - but I don't care as long as it fits into my calorie allotment.

Well, since the "tracker" isn't a sentient being it doesn't have the capacity to care if you are honest with it. The key to success is being honest with yourself.

Sounds like a trip to the orthopedist is in your future. If you have been taking ibuprofen and resting it the last few days and still have sharp pain or giving way, then you need to see the doc.

I eat white rice and even white pasta and whole wheat bread. No white bread and limit the junk food, not enough bang for your buck calorie wise or helping to feel satisfied. I am not getting sucked into any more crazy "fad" diets. Been there and done that too many times only to gain all my weight back and then some. I try…

Been there, done that. As Miss Scarlett says, tomorrow is another day. Considering the amount of success it appears you have had, this day is just a bump in the road.

I am a massive sugar LOVER so when I went on the Atkins diet a few years ago there were withdrawal symptoms, which included intense migraine headaches for days on end. So a seemingly uncontrollable urge to consume something and then having physical withdrawal symptoms when cutting it out = addiction to me. The worst part…

I lost 60ish pounds a few years ago by tracking calories and then I stopped tracking. After a while all of the other healthy habits I had instituted to lose that weight disappeared. Now it is 2-1/2 years later and I have gained all my weight back plus a bunch. For me I think it is going to have to be forever. However, I am…

Super cute dress. Wear it with cute flip-flops, that dresses everything down and a pony tail or something. The only concern would be what the weather will be that day and if the fabric feels heavy.

A few years ago on a previous diet, we decided we needed a cheat night out so we went to Famous Dave's and had wings for an appetizer with ranch dip then had a THREE meat platter with ribs, chicken fingers (with a bucket of ranch) and brisket with 2 sides garlic mash potatoes and roasted red potatoes and cornbread, then…

As an apple shaped female with sort of narrow shoulders (5 feet 6 inches tall), from my personal history of going from my lowest adult weight of 115 pounds to more than 200 now, I look pudgy at anything over 140. I honestly think body type matters. Some people carry extra weight in more "unnoticeable" places. Mine is all…

I am 47 and have 2 teenagers in the house. Instead of keeping junk food around, I have them eating healthy too:laugh: They seem perfectly happy with lots of fruits (and smoothies), hummus, boiled eggs, pistachios, yogurt, etc. We still have pizza, it is just made with whole wheat crust and piled high with veggies and a lot…

It is very possible to gain 7.5 pounds in 2 months. A few years ago I lost a bunch of weight (60+ pounds) and when I stopped measuring and documenting everything I ate I regained 15 pounds of it within 3-4 months (I didn't think I was "gorging" at the time). I went on to regain all of what I lost plus about 20 pounds over…

After reading that it helps with blood sugar control, I have been including it in my diet (it may not help but it certainly isn't going to hurt). However, apparently all "cinnamon" isn't the same. The more common type sold in America is cassia cinnamon. It doesn't taste as good and it also does not contain the potential…
