Oh and by the by...1000 calories is plenty if you feel that you're achieving the necessary protein/fat/carbs. As it has been said above me, focus on nutrient - dense low calorie foods (green vegetables), and try to "eat back" the calories you burn off. But it's achievable and maintainable.
