I have horrible juvenile arthritis. I met with my dr before I started. I take some ibfrufen before the run. Surprisingly after one week of running I don't hurt anymore than I normally do. Give it a try. Sometimes you would surprise yourself how well you can do.

That is where I wanna be in 10 weeks :)

Get10fit what kind of phone do you have?? Or iPod touch?? There are two great apps out there. The one I use is on the apple store. It's 0 to 5k to 10k by clear sky I am loving it. Gives you badges as you make different achievements. Plays your music in the background and tells you when to start stop and reached halfway…

I just started my C25k for the first time. I was planning on doing it 4-5 times a week just so I had daily exercise. Now I'm a little conflicted. I am interested to see what other people say as u go along :)

Hang in there. You are doing great. Get on a scale. You may be past your plateau by now. Know we all hit those. You are not alone. I just had mine two weeks ago. It felt really good to come out of it and see a big #

As for why a cheat day. My mom said a long time ago. You can't eliminate completely the foods you love or you will never fully be ale to enjoy your diet. I.E. wedding cake slice at my friends wedding or hot dog in Fourth of July. I budget those days in. So I can have fun but stay healthy.
-
I allow cheat days once a week. Last week I was very ill so I cheated 4 days. Mostly because I could only get a few things down. However I never allow myself to go over my calorie count! Ever.
-
Congrats! You are an inspiration to me. I just started my adventure. I wish you best of luck. You can make it!!

I hit a plateau about 6 weeks in. I didn't loose anything. Then gained four pounds. Didn't loose anything then loosed 4 lbs followed by 5. Our bodies work differently than we want often. You are doing great. Don't get discouraged. Keep pushing in. The lbs will come off

TY I would love to friends. Really need the encouragement I don't wanna give up or fall back :)
-
I guess ur right 21lbs is a big #

I have been only weighing in once a week on Tuesday after my morning work out. But I may add just one more time at least a week. Either week I like the idea of measuring. I can say since starting I fit into all my pants and most are falling off me.
-
I've been trying to change up my routine and add something every week, I have no idea what I am doing. So I am trying to push myself to I feel I will break each day then 5 minutes past that.
-
Yay I'm not alone :) I will not give up either. Press in harder!! Because that 4 lbs is coming off one way or another for me!!
-
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will definitely increase my water for a few days and see if that helps. I am so grateful for the great responses.
-
Hugs. If you need a friend. Would love to be here to motivate you. I have over 130lbs to loose.
-
I'm out there with a lot of weight to loose too, around 130+ would love friends to help me and I can help motivate them too
-
I'm 27 looking to loose 130lbs looking for friends to help me on this adventure!

I am doing between 30 to 60 minutes a day on the arc trainer. Then 20-30 on the treadmill and the 10-15 on the stair climber. Once a week I'm doing aqua aerobics too and I try to swim for 30 minutes 3-days a week. I take one day off each week to rest and just walk around our neighborhood with my husband.
-
I was wondering if it was water weight. I may tryi g weighing every couple days. I just afraid of being glued to the scale.

Would love to meet others who want to share this adventure with me. I'm 27 years old... And really wanting to be under 300lbs for my anniversary in November. Would love even more to be under 275!!
