The best options are Fried calamari and then the mixed seafood grill. The best option calories wise would probably be oysters or the red mullet followed by the grilled swordfish

Sainsburys and Waitrose both do some really nice soups with meat in them. Sainsburys jerk chicken and Waitrose Cuban pork are my favourites.

Between the two of us we normally spend about £15 at the greengrocers and then around £50 at the supermarket getting everthing else. Gets up to around £80 if we are buying alcohol.

After trying low carb like yourself, no pasta, rice and changing my lunch from bread based to a salad, I found the same. I was no longer feeling wiped out in the afternoon and wasn't falling asleep on the sofa in the evening. The days I do have a sandwich for lunch I do end up feeling sluggish in the afternoon

I had this last night http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/10033/aubergine-tomato-and-parmesan-bake-melanzane-alla- We added minced beef so it became more like an aubergine (eggplant) lasagne

About an hour, 10 minute bike ride, 35 minute train ride, 15 minute tube ride and a couple of minutes walk

Thought exactly the same when I was there in March. When I noticed families on the plane I just assumed that they were just flying into Vegas and then travelling on, but was surprised to see how many were on the strip. I stayed in the Luxor and there was some shows for the kids to see, but the pool area wasn't kid friendly…

Ridiculous behaviour Doug. On the flip side I've just been filling out my diary for today and I will use all my calories for drink and may even go way over with some food. T'is Friday after all

My wife really enjoyed that book and we've just finished watching the first TV series. I enjoyed that, but she didn't as much apparently it's too far away from the book for her

I'm now in week 3 of eating a reduced carb diet. I would normally eat pasta or potato with every evening meal, bread with every lunch meal and bread for breakfast at the weekends. I've had to make sure I make my own lunch to bring to work as I know I would end up buying something based around bread and crisps. I plan what…

There must be an Itsu or Abokado in the areas you mentioned? They're whole set-up is providing healthy options

First thing jumps out at me is that cycling 8 miles a day, even if the hills aren't that bad and only eating what you have listed you will be hungry and the carrots or celery won't cut it. I only cycle 4 miles a day and I know if I don't eat enough and allow myself to get hungry I will pig out to fill myself up.

Just got back to the UK from a trip to Vegas and I'm now pretty addicted to March Madness. In the UK the idea of watching some university kids playing basketball is a bit alien (yeah I know, the country that makes such a big deal of two universities row some boats), but watching it out in Vegas was great. Never really got…

I'm pretty much the same as this. Pain killers work, but it's not the long term solution. I do stretch similar to the one Lovestheearth uses, but I do it by kneeling on the floor similar to how a sprinter starts, but placing my foot behind the opposite knee and applying pressure. Also I use a foam roller to work my hips…

Not the beach, but trimming to lay around by the pool in Vegas end of March for my 30th
