I've actually noticed quite a change in my waist and tummy. Which is weird, cos the last time I lost weight I lost it all from my girls first! lol I have lost some off my boobs, but not as much as before. As you say, maybe in due course.

Maintained this week - sounds bad but I'm quite pleased as I've lost 3.5 inches off my waist and 1 inch off my hips, yay!

I found it via an unrelated forum I use. I'd already decided I wanted to change my lifestyle, but didn't have any direction. MFP has helped immeasurably  I decided I wanted to change as I've started to think about having kids and I didn't want to bring them into a world of bad eating habits. It upset me quite a bit,…

Say you eat your 3 meals today, and in total with snacks and everything you consume 1600 calories. Now, on a day you do 0 exercise, your NET calories is still 1600, and you have worked off 0 calories from doing 0 exercise 1600 - 0 = 1600 Say the next day you still eat 1600 calories, but you also walk your kids to school,…

I'm due to start this as soon as it's delivered! I think people have said to log it as circuit training. Enjoy!

I think the key thing to remember is when you set MFP up, it asks you how much weight you want to lose/gain or maintain. If you've set it up for a loss, based on your BMR and whether you're an active person or not, MFP builds in a deficit for you in your goal calories BEFORE any exercise. So if you do exercise, you need to…

Seeing as we're all confused and it can't be any good for Rosy, why don't we agree on a set weigh in day? My current WI day is saturday, but can easily change it if needs be
-
Not when you're burning 4000! lol
-
When you signed up to MFP, did you say you were an active person? When I signed up I said sedentary because I work in an office, sat down all day etc etc, so I add all the exercise I do. If you put you are very active though (not sure on the exact labels) then you may not need to add your walking to school etc.

Have you read the thread I linked to above? Please don't just eat 1200 calories if you are exercising too. In the majority of cases it can be very bad for you.
-
4000, are you sure? Obviously it will be impossible for you to eat all those calories, well healthily anyway. Why don't you just try increasing your caloric intake by a couple of hundred, or 500 if you can manage it and go from there? the other answer of course is to not do quite so much exercise if you really are burning…

Thanks. Mine is more localised around my ankle, rather than down the foot towards the toe. Was really bad on Sunday and swelled up after I spent the whole day on my feet shopping on Saturday :blushing: I'm due at the docs next week so may just mention it then. Thanks a lot :flowerforyou:
-
Can I ask a daft question? I'm not sure if I have tendonitis in my left ankle, can I ask what your pain is like? :embarassed:

I go to a class called called BodyBlast, no idea if it's similar or not. We do aerobics, kickboxing and zumba all mixed together. I just put it as aerobics, general I think.

Thanks Tara

rachel - I have asthma, and it is a pain in the backside. All I can say is he probably will get better as he gets older. While my asthma hasn't gone completely (more on this later), it is a heck of a lot better. I don't take preventers every day anymore  Onto the selfish bit - I, as in me, went to my first EVER…

My start weight for the group is 205.2, down 2.2 pounds from last week so yay me!
-
I really enjoy it, I love the fact I can put my own recipes in and it works it all out for me  He just tends to log and doesn't use the forums/blogs like I do. But it definitely helps having each other for support! Btw, we're not married but we might as well be lol.

Yep me and the OH are both on here, trying to do this thing right and together

Sorry, yes I should've said for women! I often forget there's men here too. Sorry :flowerforyou:

Think of it like your wage slip or paycheck. You have your gross income (income before tax etc) Then you have all your deductions (tax etc). Then you have your net wage (take home pay). So, the calories you eat are you gross income, the exercise you do are your deductions. Your net calories are the calories you've eaten…
