I saw someone post on here somewhere once about what wagon/horse you were on. People worry about falling off the wagon, but she said you should really be changing your wagon. When we are regularly not exercising or eating well that is a wagon in and of itself. Changing your wagon so that you default is to eat healthy and…

Hey all! I am at 22.4% this morning. Would like to be 19, 18-20 really! To be perfectly honest, I'm sure how much regular people (not professional athletes, models, etc) can expect to maintain a super low body fat. To me, going from being relatively unfit or overweight as many people on this sight are, to borderline…

White girl problems :) However, did stick to two glasses of wine and was very happy with them! Tomorrow the real lushiness begins.

Jenomaha - totally agree! Your abs looks amazing! I would love to have even your "before" abs :) keep it up! That's an awesome amount of fat to lose in only 2 weeks! Cutmd - I hear you on water retention. I've lost almost 3 lbs on the scale since Monday morning drinking the JM mix, etc. When you do it do you generally gain…

Ha! This sounds like me somedays! Off to do KISS soon. Front squats today. Roughhhh. But I can do it!

Same here...I'm going out for a drink tonight and would love a nice cocktail but will be going with wine instead. Life's tough :)

Well done, shander! Nab22 - you didn't really gain 4 lbs (14,000 excess calories? I doubt it!). But it does suck to see the scale go up. It's probably water retention. I think that when I make dietary or exercise changed my body often reacts by holding water. Chin up! You're doing great! I did a 90 minute yoga class last…

Mine too! Ha. Funny! Good luck, Robin! I hope they find a way to keep you on, such a silly shame! I've got a big week coming up. I go a wedding for one of my college friends this weekend. Needless to say, they all drink like I do. Bunch of sorority sisters pretending we're still in college = booze booze booze. Though, my…

                YUUMMMMM...booze for me tomorrow!

I'd be interested to hear what you find! An additional goal for the wedding I'm attending on Sunday is to follow cutmd's advice on getting event ready. Until Saturday I am -Not eating bread or dairy products -Drinking 60 oz. a day of Jillian Michael's flush formula (not too terrible) -Doing a bit of extra sweating in my…

First part of week 1 was great...second part, not so much. Last weekend was particularly bad for me and reminded me that when I am off my regular routine I still need to make sure I don't go too far off! Especially a good reminder with two weddings coming up...I just need to listen to my body. So reminding myself of what…

I don't have the answer but I am in the same boat and love this thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/259476-not-that-heavy-girls-trying-to-lose-weight Body recomposition, fat loss, etc.

I stayed under on carbs again but didn't get as much protein as I would have liked. Today is a lost cause due to afternoon ballgame and beer. Oh well! I'll try to be good one day this weekend, I am doing a run for charity with my dog sunday so that's my 5th exercise day :) Also, I upped some of my weight on KISS...105 lbs…

Here here on the hangovers! Gross! I am going to abstain tonight (a pregnant friend will be there so that shouldn't be too difficult) but will surely drink a ton of beer tomorrow :( When you cheer for the Kansas City Royals, you have to!
-
Hi All! Jenomaha and shander...well done! I think just limiting the bad stuff you eat is half the battle and abstaining at the movies is no easy task! I did well yesterday in that I woke up early to run to just get some exercise in but ended up a bit over on cals (still under on carbs!) because of a fancy dinner I went to.…

The progress I've made but more importantly not really motivation at all...HABIT! I don't feel like working out sometimes. I don't do it because I manage to become motivated that day or hour or minute, I do it because it's what I do. Just like brushing my teeth, or going to work. Make something you don't question.

I would. Depending on how fancy the restaurant is. I wore them because although they are casual, they still look nice. I would also wear to them mass.

Oh no! Ha, sorry! I do believe it's more than traditional exercises because they are compound movements and require a lot of energy etc. to perform. I think you should trust yourself. Yesterday I walked away from KISS and I knew I had gotten my *kitten* kicked and so I over logged the minutes because I knew I had burned…
-
Good for you! I think it can be hard to keep sight of that! For me, logging helps me to make healthful decisions because I think about everything I eat. HOWEVER, I totally eat sometimes to "get cals" or because I have some left. Good point! I think it is going to be a lushy week my lushes Monday - 0 Tuesday - ? Snazzy…

Sounds like you did an awesome job! Question: I've heard it said on the forums before that HRMs are NOT accurate for strength training/lifting. That was one of my main deterrents from getting one. What have you all heard?

Be careful...it is NOT designed for weight loss and is addictive and technically considered a narcotic. While it is used outside of its prescribed purposes it is highly inadvisable.

Adderall commonly suppresses peoples' appetite and is a stimulant as well. Most people just say they don't feel the same desire to eat on it as normal and so they lose weight.

Hi all! I've heard differing things about the online calculators...they're good if you are trying to get a general estimation but aren't that accurate. I ordered an omrom hand held device and really like it. They are supposedly 98% accurate (when used correctly!) and only about $30. Either way it's been helpful in letting…

Great job everyone...welcome Colleen! I woke up this morning and ran since I have a snazzy schmoozing event tonight. But the event I AM going to do my extra 15 minutes :) It does feel great to start the day with a work out! I did awesome yesterday on carbs and protein and hope I can come close again today.

                I second that...bodyrock is AWESOME.
