  • I often see upward fluctuations in weight after a heavy weightlifting work out. To gain 2.7kgs of fat, you would have had to have eaten 20,650 calories OVER MAINTENANCE over those 3 days - let your muscles recover, keep lifting :)
  • At first I thought your "befores" were your "afters", and I thought "NICE!" and then I scrolled down and thought "HOLY CRAP!" You look fantastic!
  • If I were in your shoes, I would probably select lightly active and log exercise.
  • Thanks! I think I'll try to work in at least 10 minutes of stretching a day when I watch a show with my husband before bed, and see where that takes me!
  • Rollerblading 30 day shred Lifting Short 8-10 minute ab videos Bicycling Volleyball Tennis Dancing around in my undies like a maniac to good music :)
  • The doctor's office I work at often recommends a melatonin supplement to help with sleep- I was skeptical at first (mind you, I don't have trouble sleeping), but so many of our patients transitioned off Ambien and other heavy duty sleep meds that I encouraged my mom to give it a try- it has helped her a lot! I believe you…
  • Yes! Especially in your midsection, arms, and face- by your face alone I would have guessed an even bigger loss. Great job!
  • I really enjoy them once in a while. Made my husband buy me a lap dance (ok, two) for my birthday last year. He got a couple too. It is all in good fun for us. I trust him, he trusts me. Plus boobs are fantastic to look at :)
  • As well as pinupgirlclothing! Love them!
  • Oh, I'm sure it is! I was thinking about doing a super beginner course to work on flexibility- I did a really, really beginner course years ago and I think it helped back then.
  • Why is your husband unsupportive of a habit that will make your body stronger and healthier? If the concern is your feet, there are many low impact workouts you can do such the elliptical, upper body lifting, cycling, etc.
  • My favorite side dish is a salad made of equal parts cubed tomatoes and avocados, squeeze of lemon juice, dash of garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Sometimes I mix in some imitation crab and a little cubed cheese to make it a meal. Cocoa coated almonds are great in moderation for a sweet tooth too. Check out foodgawker, I…
  • Agree with putting it behind you. Maybe focus on extra healthy choices, or getting a little more exercise in!
  • I like this response. I am lucky enough not to have too many trigger foods, and be able to what I wish in moderation- I do know, that eating healthier foods makes me feel better, and fuels my workouts, so I tend to stick to them for the most part. However, if I have some delicious french cheese in the house, look out! That…
  • Oh, man, you had me going for a second!
  • Yes, inquiring minds would like to know. Also, this comment has made it crucial for me to watch Tenacious D, Pick of Destiny tonight.
  • Also, very much this! My thick legs have never looked like that in jeans, and boy, what I wouldn't do for your hair!
  • Agreed! I am currently trying to change my body composition, and it is making my confidence soar- I also put away my scale. I know I'm a healthy weight, but wasn't satisfied with what I was seeing in the mirror, so I'm working out hard to change it. And, for anyone judging, I think it is unfair not to realize that women of…
  • I just posted a topic on this today, if you'd like to check it out, some great responses- http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1029448-adding-before-eating I personally like a big, robust dinner, and love to make it homemade, so I usually put my dinner in early in the day, so that I can fit in other foods around it.…
  • This! I've lived in America my whole life, but have spent quite a bit of time in Poland, since that is where a lot of my family is. They really don't care that much about nudity. If you go to the beach, you'll see people young and old, fit or overweight, wearing speedos, tanning topless, however they feel comfortable.…
  • Well, that's a bummer. Just kidding... sort of.
  • He had absolutely no motivation. Literally, ZERO. And crazy. I didn't realize how crazy he was, until 2 years after I had last had any contact with him whatsoever, he anonymously Facebooked my husband, just after we got married, to tell him all about how awful he thinks I am (it was very obviously him, he could have at…

  • I'm guessing they want to show their progress, but not be recognized by people they know, future employers, family members, etc. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to keep some personal details hidden. For me, I don't need clients, employers, etc to see me in a bikini.
  • I am most amused by the drying of a single ball. Does he only have one testicle, or does he just ignore the other one, I wonder?
  • Heck yes! I'm fairly new, but I have honestly seen so much more kindness and support here than I have seen most other places.
  • That is your prerogative. I have a couple unflattering scars from being accident prone. Other people chose to hide unflattering scars. I don't, they are part of me, *I* am not ashamed of them. To me, your comment is on par with someone seeing the burn scar on my stomach and saying "I cover my scars, why can't you cover…
  • Oh I love these! I'm not overweight, but buy bikinis that are this sort of style from pinupgirlclothing.com- this style was all the rage in the 50's by thin and curvy women alike. I think they are flattering! And, to the OP- what exactly do you have a problem with here? Yes, obesity can cause health problems, but I doubt…
  • Yup, that's pretty my exactly what I was trying to describe! I'm not usually too hungry during the day, so it's not a big deal to me to eat 500-700 calories throughout the day if I can have a big, fulfilling meal full of nutrients in the evening!
