I tend to not come to forums myself. It is daunting, and generally my posts get ignored, which makes it even worse. I agree with adding friends and groups that are more within your interests and support needs.

No it doesn't taste "the same" and for me that is a good thing, since I am off sugar, gluten, artificially processed crap, and empty calories, myself. I agree that trying to compare the taste, texture, and so forth is pretty silly, though. But it IS an alternative ... LMAO!

I became afraid to weigh in when I knew damn well I was slipping and not sticking to my nutrition plan. When I finally got on the scale, months later, I had gained a substantial amount of weight! I had also experienced clothing getting too tight or not fitting at all any more ... *sigh*

I totally love dancing, I usually don't want to stop! I just put my Pandora on Techno/Dance station, and move around the house. I don't count! I usually eat breakfast, and lunch, as planned meals. The rest is eating a bit here and there, when hungry, and I stop when I am full. I tend to not eat a meal for dinner because by the time I get off work, it's 9 pm and I don't a big meal, so maybe another light snack or bite or two.

Like others here, I was at 1200 but it was a struggle and many days I went over, or got frustrated and didn't bother to count. Now at around 1500, I am staying under every day. I also tend to burn around 200 + a day in exercise, which ups it a bit.
