I sautee it (and most other vegetables) in olive oil, garlic and onions. You just have to watch out for how much oil you use because the calories can add up. But it gives it a nice flavor. I usually sautee mine for a while so they get a nice browning.

I halved an avocado, sprinkled it with salt, pepper and squeezed fresh lemon juice on it and it was my dinner last night. Yum! I eat avocados anyway I get them!

I love oatmeal so I eat that every morning. I want to try this refrigerator oatmeal especially during the summer. I haven't tried it yet but it sure does look yummy. You can make it the night before and then it is can be grab and go in the morning. http://www.theyummylife.com/Refrigerator_Oatmeal

Ooh nice idea. If I didn't live with other people, I would hang my bathing suit in the kitchen for motivation. At first glimpse, I thought it was melted pineapple rings with maraschino cherries!

An egg sandwich. I cook mine over-medium, and eat it on a WG English muffin for 120 calories = 190 total I like to top mine with tomato, some type of green, cheese or mayo or if I'm feeling extra crazy all of them.

Tha sounds fantastic! I will have to check it out. I don't know how to cook for one, I always make way too much food

Have you read the Iron King series? I worked with a summer reading program for teens this summer so I was reading a lot of YA books. I picked up the first book even though I'm not a fantasy fan but loved it! Ended up reading all 3, and a 4th just came out last month. It also has a good romance story to it.

I like her blog too. I haven't watched her show too much on Foodnetwork though. My mom has her original Betty Crocker cookbook (I don't know how old it is, buts its almsot falling apart) and I remember that was the first cookbook I used to bake a cake with. Still love to use it. I love food blogs!! I use them a lot to cook…

That is good! I hate getting cookbooks with not readily accessible ingredients. Or ingredients I won't ever use again!

Mmmm tacos are my favorite!! That is why I want it so I can expand my Mexican recipe repertoire lol I have so many Mediterrenean cookbooks so I wanted to expand my collection. All this cookbook talk makes me think I should start a new topic on it!

That is so nice!! I really hope B&N stays in business. It was sad seeing Borders close. I love browsing bookstores, going with my mom and getting a coffee and snack at the cafe.

I love to cook from all over the world but wanted a book where I didn't have to run out for all these exotic ingredients I wouldn't use ever again! lol

I like them for summer. I have a few in my closet. I think you just have to try one on and see if you like it on your body.

I have a love-hate relationship with it. It is beautiful and it wouldn't be Christmas without snow but I really hate driving in it. But I also grew up in a rural area where the roads weren't paved as well as in cities and towns so maybe that is why I'm biased. I also have lots of fond memories of sledding and playing in it…
