I actually attended one of Richard Simmons' aerobic classes in February for a breast cancer fundraiser. It was one of the weirdest experiences of my life, especially when he called all of the men to the front, had them all remove their shirts, and proceeded to grope them for the next hour. I don't think that kind of thing…

I used to feel that way too. It's a little intimidating pumping your 5-10lbs weights while men drip testosterone everywhere. I think if you were to keep at it though it may become more comfortable and routine, or you could always join a female only gym?

It's not so much adjusting our crotches as it is adjusting the thong going to unspeakable places while exercising. I don't think anyone should be spitting, though. If I see a hot guy walking towards me, then turn his head to launch a loogey, I want to barf. So unattractive! And, TR0berts, it's always a good time for frozen…

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Owls are my kryptonite.

I got into a car accident this past Sunday with my husband. We were all very lucky and everyone involved was unharmed, but I can't stop thinking about how close my husband was to ending up in the hospital. Had I been in a different lane, or the vehicle had struck my passenger door rather than my passenger wheel, I don't…

I had a lot of favourites but I keep coming back to this one:

Great, so basically you would have to be really overdoing it for any kind of health risk to be a factor. I have some in my coffee and tea (as Teabea pointed out, milk and sweetener are a must for a delicious chai dessert in a cup!). I use Mio and will have a can of diet Pepsi with rye if I feel like a drink, but I don't…

Go listen to Disarmonia Mundi then! Or Disillusion. They both sound a lot like Gojira. It's a fact that you lift heavier based on how heavy your music is. The science is indisputable.

Wah! Creepy! I have nothing recent but my parents told me a story about how when I was a very little girl my dad pulled me out of the bathtub one night and started drying my hair while I sat on the countertop next to the bathroom sink. My dad was facing towards me and the bathroom mirror and I kept staring at something…

Heck yeah! Try some of these out, though I think some were already mentioned: Combichrist http://youtu.be/kRa3BU5bl-s Disarmoni Mundi http://youtu.be/SyGclLCDP9c Rammstein http://youtu.be/uIiMhSvtrGc Slipknot http://youtu.be/d8x15aZYhP4 Gojira http://youtu.be/QqB4YPcacdo Dope http://youtu.be/vhj51AzFJ00 Amon Amarth…

I'm trying to bump up my workouts from five days a week to six, so in a perfect week things will go like so: Monday: Rest Tuesday: lift for an hour in the evening, full body Wednesday: gentle yoga Thursday: full body circuit for 30 minutes in the evening Friday: swimming for an hour during my lunch break (usually 30…

We hit -40C/F in the winter and I am not that dedicated! Some crazy *kitten* here will do it and I'm not sure if I should applaud them or have them committed.

Love it! My husband and I have a yearly tradition of biking in Jasper, Alberta every August with my family. We get a lot of riding in our city's river valley as well in the summer. Sadly, the snow has started to fall and I need to put my bike on the trainer for the winter. It's just not the same though!

1. See Rammstein live--check! Ended up seeing them twice and they rocked my face off! 2. Find a good man to settle down with--check! 3. Go to Japan--check! 4. Go back to Japan 5. See Europe, especially France 6. Go horseback riding on the beach--hopefully will be riding along the sandy beaches of St Lucia in December! 7.…

I'm the same way but I find it helps to just suck on a sweet hard candy, like a Werther's Original, after dinner. It's 20 calories so I can go nuts and have a few if the craving is really bad, though I find one does the trick. I also like to make chai tea with milk and sweetener after dinner to help curve a craving.

I was/am in the nerd clique! I was also in the French immersion program, though, and everyone in my grade from that program got along pretty well so I socialized with everyone; I just related better to fellow geeks. NERD PRIDE YO!

Visiting the personal trainer tonight with my husband for another go at supersets. I was exhausted after last week's session so I'm trying to get pumped up for another *kitten* kicking!

My go to drink used to be a tall nonfat chai tea latte--delicious and only 150 calories. Now I'll usually get a coffee misto. I'm trying to avoid Starbucks until the Pumpkin Spice Latte goes away. Those babies are dangerous.

MMMM sushi! I could eat it once a week. Try start off with a bowl of miso soup. It's very good for you and low in calories, plus it'll help fill you up a bit. Like other posters stated, sashimi is safe, but a little boring for my taste. Small california rolls, avocado rolls, and basic sushi (usually one slice of raw fish…

My husband and I are hosting a Halloween housewarming on Saturday. I'm a huge heavy metal fan though I don't really look like it, so this year Halloween I've decided to look the part and go as my inner metalhead.

Innerpartysystem has great workout music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqtXtnUGPiA I love metal so Combichrist is a nice mix of dance/rock for working out to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRa3BU5bl-s Nine Inch Nails is also good for workouts--this remixed version of The Hand That Feeds always gets me going:…

I'd say a 7 or 8 but I think more important is just general contact. I love sex, but I love cuddling in front of the TV with my husband more than anything. I love him so much during those moments.

I didn't even watch this movie (because I'm a wimp) but the Wikipedia summary was enough to scar me for life. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antichrist_(film) Has anyone actually watched this?! Is it as messed up as it sounds?!

I loved the first film so I really want to love this one, but I'm not too sure about this trailer...:indifferent:

I'm in a similar boat with you! I haven't lost as much since I dropped down from 175lbs so I've been stuck around 150lbs for some time now. The last 17lbs are taking forever to lose, granted it took me two years to get to my current state. SW: 175lbs CW: 152lbs GW: 135lbs HT: 5"5

Pfffft, I'm in Vancouver often and I hear you guys complaining about the "cold" all the time, but -10C is a helluva lot better than the -40 we get, not to mention so much snow! I've spent a few green Christmases in Vancouver with family and it was amaaazing!

I went to Vegas with some girlfriends for a few days and it was really fun!

My most uncomfortable memory at the gym was when I was getting undressed so I could put on my swimsuit and hit the pool. There was a woman next to me who kept complimenting every piece of clothing I took off and every body part that was revealed. It started to feel like I was giving her a striptease but thankfully a…
