I think some of what you have to do to get there may be genetic specific. I can eat clean and my stomach will go down, but it has never been "flat" and when I gain it's always in the stomach first. Through reading various threads, I realize that I have been "skinny fat" most of my life. So, for myself I think I would have…

I am interested in workouts to get in shape for hiking as well. We don't have steep mountains in my area and I don't live in a high altitude climate. I wonder can walking on the treadmill at high inclines help?

I am a university professor with a 1 hour commute each way. I start back in mid-August and would like to be in the group for support in eating and exercise. Eating fast food during my drive time, buffet lunches in the cafeteria, and being too tired to exercise contributed a lot to my weight gain.

I checked mine and those numbers have gone down. However, 20% of my TDEE is pretty similar to my current MFP suggested calorie…

I have just completed the first week of phase one and am doing okay. I have lost 6lbs so far (3 of which was from bloating due to that time of the month). The first 2-3 days are the toughest because of the sugar withdrawl. But if you can get past that, your body adapts quickly. Also, In the past I lost 10 lbs after…
