This is a really informative post. I have UC and have had to resort to running at the gym because 10 minutes into a run and sometimes again within an hour I need an emergency bathroom break. I'm afraid of running long distances outside where there may be no restroom closeby. I like the Immodium tip and may ask my GI doc…

Physical therapists also treat running injuries. Several clinics in our area will analyze gait/running as well as evaluate and treat movement related injuries.
