  • As I am starting to lift the weight off the floor I feel a tension/pull in my lower back and i worry that any more weight and I could really hurt myself.

  • so I though it was like a week since I last lifted, but much to my surprise when I went to day and saw my little notepad, it was actually 2 weeks!!!!! and did I notice! I ended up deloading everything and will build back up again! Squats was at 160, deloaded to 135 OHP was at 60, down to 50 Deads was at 150, down to 135
  • UGH! I wont be able to lift this week at all, and having lifted since the 5th. BOO! I dont have child care this week so cant get there. Hopefully next week I can get back on track. Hopefully my workout wont suffer too much!! You ladies are doing great!!!!

  • I dont warm up. honestly it never really crossed my mind. I just usually do one or two squats to make sure the safety is at the right height. So what do I do for warm ups, and how much weight? Thanks!

  • I am in the same boat as well. I did the metabolism reset for 6 weeks and still nothing. But it may work for you. You can search under groups for 'eat more to lose more", also search metabolism reset group for some good info!
  • thanks! I really like SL because of its simplicity, but I certainly dont want to do it just to get "stronger". Of course this is nice, but I need to tone up everywhere and I think this is working.

  • I have been doing 20 minutes of cardio after lifting, 1 mile run on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the stairclimber, and on days off from lifting I run 4 miles or so, 3 days per week. I didnt start SL off doing this, I was primarily just lifting, but I need to lose some weight and just lifting wasnt cutting it....
  • Me ME! I am with you!! :laugh: Ran today, lifting tomorrow! I need to review form for pendlays, cuz i am pretty sure I am doing more of an upright row than a pendlay, but I have low back issues, so i may just have to compromise.....
