I usually bring either oatmeal or Greek yogurt with some fiber one mixed in or cottage cheese mixed with berries. You could also make smoothies or a sandwich. If you have a microwave you coud make pretty much whatever you want

Me!!!! Mostly obsessive about calories in....I find that if I dont track every morsel that enters my body, I dont lose weight....

I just got a fitbit charge HR for christmas and have only worn it for a few days... I didnt actually ask for it, so keep that in mind..I have had garmin HR monitors in past, with the heart rate strap that goes accross the chest and that was uncomfortable, but the device was very accurate with respect to miles run and that…

It's funny that you mention this because I have always found maintenance to be harder for me than losing!! And the older I get the harder it is. I have also never trusted calorie burn so I don't eat back exercise calories either. In fact when I had a bodymedia device which is what you wear on your arm and it calculates…

I have salad just about every day with my dinner, and usually baked chicken breast or trader joes chicken hot dogs, or tuna fish for protein and some type of veggie like butternut squash or green beans....I usually buy a marinated turkey breast ( I love shady brook farms rotissierre) and bake it on sunday, and it will last…

If you haven't gained any weight this past month, then you have found maintenance... I wounldnt worry about how much you are burning when running, especially if you don't eat back you exercise calories. Try to be really careful for a week and log every bite that goes in your mouth and see what happens! Good for you for…

I have done both bikram and hot yoga and I LOVE hot yoga so much more than bikram. I found like others above, that bikram got boring doing the same 26 poses every class. I am lucky to have an awesome hot yoga studio nearby and go 4-5x/week and have never felt better!!!

This couldnt be more true!! I would also like to point out that even pre-packaged foods can be "off". For example, I eat cheese sticks and each one is 70 cals. I noticed recently that some of the cheese sticks seemed bigger than usual. I took two from the same bag and weighed them and there was 20gm difference!!

I can totally relate!!! To be perfectly honest, I try not to look at myself in the mirror unless I am clothed. But I like the way I look with clothes on, and I am so much healthier than I was when I was 100 lbs heavier.... I don't know if I will ever come to peace with how I look, but I at least accept it! Maybe try to…

I am usually up and working out by 530am during the week. If I don't have any weekend plans I will sleep in and workout around 8 or so!! If I don't workout first thing I lose my motivation, and I also have to do it before the kids get up etc!

It may help to open up your food diary so others can see what you are eating. Do you weigh your food. Keep track of your intake?

Map out a course ahead of time that you know is 5k and run it. Then you don't need any devices. You can also check out mapmyrun or gmapspedometer.com and track your route to find out how far you ran. Forget the app and focus on the run....

The bottom line is, if you aren't losing weight you aren't eating at a deficit. When you get closer to goal, you have to be much more careful about keeping close track of what you eat. i.e you need to weigh/measure everything! I would recommend getting a digital food scale if you don't have one already, and weigh…
