  • I was told this as well at my first us when I was 6 wks, and they checked a couple times and I am now almost 36 weeks and have not had any issues. I am sure everything will be ok!!! Good luck!
  • 5 weeks to go for me!!!! Counting down the days. The baby still has yet to get into position, but I am doing everything I can to help turn him. Cant even remember what its like to sleep more than 2 hours at a pop. I get up at least 4-5 times in an 8 hr period to go to the bathroom at night! How is everyone else doing?? I…
  • Thanks Ladies! I cant believe that some of you delivered breech. The physics of it just doesnt make sense to me, but hearing all the stories, maybe something I should consider if I need to....I just figured butt first would be too tight a fit.... I appreciate all the feedback!
  • Thank you all for the encouragement. I am going to see a chiropractor tomorrow who specializes in the webster method. I will keep my fingers crossed. My doc wont do breech delivery so I really need this guy to turn. UGH!
  • Sigh. 34 weeks and still breech. I am absolutely beside myself.
  • I was up at least 20 lbs by 20 weeks even though I never increased calories and work out daily. I think that everyone is different and even though still at 33 weeks I eat less now than when i wasnt pregnant, I have gained 40 lbs  I track everything, but the same thing happened with my first pregnancy, and unless you…
  • Thank you all for the feedback!! I will check out that website!!
  • I worked right up until I delivered with my first and plan to do the same this time too. I would be worried too about going late. my cousin took a week off before her duedate and was 11 days late so she lost almost 3weeks of time afterwords....
  • I like sawyer! We are having a boy and hubby and I cant agree on a name. Some I like are: Finn Tristan Zachary Oliver
  • 29 weeks 5 days and counting! I have cankles and back pain and feel huge and miserable lol. Cant wait till this is over. going to OB every 2 weeks now! yay!
  • Whatever you decide, Good for you for sticking it out and for losing all that weight to begin with. I had a similar problem prior to getting pregnant, and I can totally relate. I also would like to add that HRm are not 100% accurate, and it sounds like you are very active, so you may have adapted to all that exercise....…
  • No my second. Bu t my daughter is 7. I started running after I had her after 2 weeks. Also not breastfeeding so that is not an issue.
  • Thanks for all the input! My plan is to do my best with training and do it. I cant not do it....
  • Yes! (with respect to three strikes rule that is. I started running after my daughter was born when she was 2 weeks old, so I certainly didnt wait 6 weeks. In fact that wasnt even a thought until someone mentioned it. I ran Boston when she was 8mos old, which worked out well as far as timing. breast feeding is not an issue…
  • I would start with 100 for a couple weeks and if you are still over, either way you should gain less, if that makes any sense. SO if you really are eating over your cals by 7000+ per week, which is what you would have to do to gain 2 lbs per week, try cutting 100 cals per day, and you should only gain 1.5-1.75lbs in…
  • I would say not to cut back by more than 100 calories per day and give it a couple weeks to see what happens. DOnt forget time of month may play a role as well, so one week is not enough. I would also make sure you are logging everything so you can be sure the error is not in what you eat. The other thing is, for me, I…
  • As others have mentioned, try more calorie dense foods like nuts and nut butter! I can easily eat 3 tbsp peanut butter on a sandwich, and with bread and jelly thats easily 450 cals. Full fat cheese, dairy, avocado if you like.....
  • As you know I had the same problem. I am interested to see what others think. One question, are you absolutely certain about your intake? Do you measure your food and count every bite??? I found that measuring on a scale as opposed to using measuring cups was much more accurate. For example, when I thought I was eating 1/2…
  • Yes! I am a nurse and of course we always appreciated any acts of kindness, but I was always so happy to see fruit baskets or healthy treats as opposed to the less healthy options. ALso believe it or not alot of nurses will not eat food that is homemade, I guess it would be no different than if a stranger came up to you…
  • I sent fruit baskets to the staff and also my OB.
  • I agree with everyone above! If I wasnt pregnant I probably would have been running and my 7 yr old would have been there watching, as she was 7 yrs ago when I ran it. Living here makes it even harder. I feel like this wonderful race is tarnished now and I feel sick about the whole thing. You can bet your *kitten* I will…
  • Great thread!! I am from America but i read alot of books by English authors, so alot of the terms here are not new to me, but it took awhile to figure them out, like pissed, *kitten*, torch. I work in the medical field and we do use metric as standard, at least in New England area. So I am familiar with kg/gm, but when…
  • I use at least 3tbsp every time I make PB&J, and have easily had 4-5tbsp in a day. I have actually contemplated sitting down to see how much I could eat before I got sick of it, but I am afraid I would eat the whole jar. I heart peanut butter!
  • How about trying intervals, speedwork, fartleks, that type of thing. Vary your workouts more. Do a long run one day, speed work another, easy, tempo run another day. After awhile your body will adjust to the workout and you have to work harder and/or longer to get same results. You are becoming more efficient!
  • ^^^this
  • I am certainly no expert, and I have gone throught the same thing. have you figured out what maintenance is for you? Maybe you should try eating at like 1900 for a week or two to see what happens to find maint. for a few weeks..... Interested to see what others think. How tall are you??
  • I have a garmin that has a shoe pod that tracks distance/pace/speed etc. I havent used it recently, but I loved using it. It also comes with HRM and chest strap to calculate calories burned. I LOVE it!
  • I also live in worcester!! I love to run, but I am 24+ weeks pregnant now, so downgraded to walking and gym. I am due in July and plan to start running ASAP. I am hoping to do the NYC marathon this year, so I dont have a lot of time to get back in shape!!!
