I feel obsessed with counting calories. I'm one of those people who likes lists and numbers normally and this has been a quick fixation for me. Since I started I am disgusted by things I used to love (like the BJ's nachos which are a ridiculous 1710 calories, over 500 calories over my daily allotment before exercise).…

According to Fitness Magazine: "Of course, how many calories you burn depends on the duration and, ahem, vigor of the activity. A moderate 20 minutes will burn only about 28 calories, 32 at a more energetic rate -- but you can burn close to 100 calories if the fun lasts for an hour."

I went to BJ's tonight for a birthday dinner... and this made my conscious guilt me into not getting the Irish Root Beer I wanted. I couldn't find out how many calories were in it (still can't find it online... and I don't want to bother doing math)... so I chickened out and just had water.

Glad I found this... alcohol is the cause of most of my empty calories.
