Yes people do lose weight, not the first few weeks, in fact you will gain those first weeks as you're building muscle and retaining water...but soon the weight will come off. I've seen and heard of people losing 1-20 lbs. but also watching what they eat and putting everything into the workouts.

Time flew by so quickly I thought I had at least one more week, but yes that's what it was. The two or so days before it hits I want to eat everything in the kitchen and then about an hour later, do it again lol. So today is a little better. I've only eaten three times with two snacks and no tummy growling :) Need to work…

My Time of the month... not working out. This is why I want to eat everything!! I'm happy its not from my workouts because I think I'd of given up. I don't know how to open my diary, I thought I had once..huh? But I generally eat pretty filling stuff, just not a lot of it. I'm just going to snack though this hell week and…

Yesterday I had 64g of protein. But it says I need 80? So maybe it's still the protein? I started a shake because I wasn't eating hardly any protein. I'm fairly certain I'm actually hungry. I drink tons of water and had a big fajita plate for lunch, which I could've eaten more??? Which is crazy, I hardly even finish a…

Thank you! The shred it great, just be sure to take before pics and measurements. Because I felt stronger and slimmer but had no clue until I compared photos. Feel free to add me, I'm trying to stay motivated and enjoy keeping other on task :)

Level two results coming soon! It's not quite as bad as they say... ;)
-
I usually give up on everything too! I'm happy to see myself seeing this thing through :) I'm glad you did too. I'd of never known you were, "aw who cares, I don't wanna do it anymore" kind of person like me... or rather, like I was ;)

Honey you're not quitting! You're healing and looking for a new route to be able to workout. I hope everything gets better. I know how it feels to have a medical issue bring you down. I have adult onset asthma, meaning it literally appeared one day out of the blue! I couldn't even fold laundry without going into an asthma…

It sounds pretty great. I'm glad you're moving onto the next adventure! You motivate me ALOT, in that you just keep on going hahaha :)
-
Nice, good luck with Level 3! I think my energy has a lot to do with my protein drink and I'm just an overly optimistic person in general, most of the time anyways ;)
-
Thank you! Still in Level two though, but I've only got maybe 4-6 more days of it... depending how I feel, if I'm able to move on or not.

I was in hiatus too, had a bad week with the hubby and messed up all my progress. But Once things were settled in my marriage I waited till the following Monday and I decided that I was changing into my workout clothes as soon as I got home from work. I read somewhere that people are 50-70% more likely to workout if they…

Beast mode [on] off. Haha

Poor hubby...I used to be accident prone. I think I passed onto my oldest daughter lol! The shred can get boring but as I've mentioned before, I like that's it repetition so I can see the changes I make as my body gets stronger Better luck in things :)
-
Bummer! But you're doing the extreme shred next anyways right?
-
Circuit training is going to be your best then. It has everything you need, you just need to find something you enjoy. I guess I'm weird in the aspect that I really enjoy working out. It's hard yes but I feel so inspired by it, it just makes me happy. Now I'm going onto insanity next month...that point of view may change…
-
Oh wow that looks great. Did you get it?
-
To each their own. It is repetitive but I like that because I can tell as my body gets stronger each day. We hope you stick around :) And good luck on your new plan!
-
Haha...when ever I open my phone it pops up my message to myself: Get off your @$$ and be awesome
-
Third times the charm! I'm sure you and the hubby will find that perfect combo. Good luck and don't be too hard on yourself :)
-
Lol, just strap a dang I.V. bag up to us haha! One more thing to add in if you don't mind. You're gonna have days where you eat bad or just give up. We ALL have bad days...hell I've had a bad week before. Just don't beat yourself up over it. Pick up where you left off. Tomorrow is always a fresh start so don't linger on…

What? where did you tummy go? This is incredible, wow! Your arms, your legs, your stomach...wow...just wow! Great job!!!

There's lots of other Jillian Michael's videos. And there's a lot of other videos out there in general. It really depends on what you enjoy.. dance, weights, running, cardio?

Welcome! I have a few tips for ya :) Listen to your body. Most of us take rest days, if you need one..you take it! Go at your own pace. You don't want to push to hard and then injure yourself or lose interest in the workout. Drink lots of water!! Lots of it! I find I'm always thirsty now that I'm working out. That soreness…

Well hell, I always measure after a workout when I take my measurements! LOL. No wonder I didn't lose quite as many inches as I felt I have. I really think level two is going to make a huge difference. It's hard, but doable... I can't wait till I feel more confident in the moves though.

I have a few thoughts on this. One: Muscle grows beneath the fat first then it starts to kind of eat it. It's why we gain first. Two: And, I've seen a lot of people do this... :( just because we work out doesn't mean we can eat more! We need that deficiency to lose. I'm not picking in you, but I've heard so many people say…

Those are great, "the time will pass anyway" what a good point of view on it :)
-
I'm sorry but don't be so rough on yourself. I think you might be pushing for too much, too soon. I think the 30 day shred and running are great and when the shred it over you can replace it with ripped. I agree with Lorien, you're just in limbo right now with your routine changing up and yes indeed, carry healthy snacks.…

I've heard those quotes before and always loved them.

Oh I love those!
