  • I also just started about 2 weeks ago, but I'm already down 13 pounds...that being said, I have a total of about 80 I want to lose, so that's why. I think one of the things that I've found really helpful is the intermittent fasting. After I eat dinner, no later than 8, I wait on my first meal the next day until I'm truly…
  • @nvmomketo "The sodium suggestion is smart too. Increase salt intake to about 2 teaspoons per day. If you get headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, weakness or crankiness, your sodium is probably still too low." Thank you so much for this sodium suggestion! I just started a week ago and I have been having fatigue and…
  • I would talk to your doctor about your concerns. He may be able to give you some tips on things that help when you have this issue. I know it's tough, I had a friend go through the weight gain too and she struggled. When she finally got her medication regulated she was able to come up with what worked for her :)
  • I try and stick to half my body weight or more. I do notice that I feel much better when I'm doing that. I had a trainer for a while and he told me that the amount of water you drink a day isn't half as important as the consistency. He said that the important thing was to drink the same amount every day. I don't count my…
  • I just started Keto for the first time on Thursday! I would love to be a part of this to help hold me accountable and learn from eachother!!! Thanks!
  • I don't have that recipe, I'm sorry! But I will tell you that last weekend I bought the Jennie-O premade seasoned turkey burgers and loved them! We added a burger seasoning before we cooked them, but they were absolutely delicious, so if you don't find Jillian's recipe, you should give them a try :)
  • I use a Polar FT40 heart rate monitor and LOVE it. I do only wear it when I'm actually exercising/working out. I've heard great things about UP wristbands, but haven't been sure about whether or not I could stand wearing it all day....but it monitors your sleep an everything so you literally wear it 24/7
  • Adding you as a friend. Hang in there you can do this! What I try to do is break things down by just that meal or that day and make the best choices I can then. It gets overwhelming if you look at your end goal. I know for me when I initially started I was look at having to lose over 120 pounds! If I had just looked at…
  • Good for you! I've lost 70 pounds and I'm still at 249 and I just started a C25K a little over a month ago. I just ran 20 minutes without stopping, a little over a mile for the first time in my life this past Tuesday! Who cares what other people think! Just stick with it, it does work, it is hard, but it's so worth it!
