You don't have to up your calories, unless you aren't getting enough protein. Your body fat is providing the extra calories that you need!

Luckily they don't mind me going through the Tim Horton's drive thru with my ski doo!

I agree! Lifestyle over diet. That said, I know that cheat days are pretty integral in Tim Ferriss's book, "The 4 Hour Body". Lots of people getting good results there. I believe it has to do with re-setting your leptin levels.
