  • Just my 2 cents...if you have the time I would try the nutrition plan...if not just stick with MFP's recommended calorie intake for your goal. I have lost 30 lbs doing P90x (28 days to go) and did not follow the nutrition plan. I was thinking that it's going to take up so much time just trying to fit in the daily P90X…
  • When you say snacking do you mean eating junk food? Junk food will need to be cut out if you are trying to lose weight. However, you can eat 5 smaller meals a day instead of the standard 3 meals. It may prevent you from snacking...it keeps your belly satisified. I'm a recovering snacker...if I do it now it's something…
  • "Rage Against the Machine" - "Guerilla Radio"..."Bulls on Parade"..."Killing in the Name"..."Renegades of Funk" "Metallica" - "Blackened"..."The Shortest Straw"..."Holier than Thou"..."Through the Never"..."The End of the Line"...ETC!!! Do I need to go on! I love Metallica and Rage for workout songs!!
  • I have researched this before...I found that an average of 250 calories an hour are burned golfing while riding in a cart...more obviously if you are walking.
  • The P90X is a very good workout. I have had great results with it. I would just listen to Tony...he says sometimes "if you need a break just hit the pause button". You don't want to injure yourself if you push yourself too hard. Get a heart rate monitor and learn what your "training zone" is and try to stay in it on the…

  • Damn...I just bought some from ****s Sporting Goods!! I'll pass this on to friends though....
  • I bought mine at Target. I remember seeing some good reviews somewhere...maybe a running website. I don't remember which model of the Polar I have but I like it. Don't do a workout without having it on!
  • Everybody is different...some can do it without a pull-up bar. You can use the resistance bands for the pull-ups, you just need a place to attached them on a door or ceiling. You might need to buy a few different ones to make sure you are getting a good workout though. If you buy some of the smaller resistance bands and…
  • Wow you look great! I know you have to be proud of reaching your goals. I just started P90X last night...wish me luck! I'm searching for my inner six-pack! ;-) Congratulations on your accomplishment!
  • What we are calling the Lean program is included in P90X. There are 12 DVDs with different workouts on each. All 12 DVDs work with and for all three programs, you just do different DVDs at diferent times. The 3 programs are Classic, Doubles and Lean. Lean has you concentrating on Stretching, Cardio, Yoga, Kenpo and…
  • Hello...I'm in the process of gathering the equipment to start next week. I have just the simple stuff on order...pull up bar and resistance bands. You can get by with just those. If you don't want resistance bands you can buy some adjustable dumbells. I have a lot of friends and co-workers that have done it or have tried…
