Don't know if this is applicable, but some medications can cause leg cramps. Also, restless leg syndrome and vascular disease. And, as you already know, electrolyte imbalances.

I have seen people get a gastric sleeve and do well. I have also seen people die. Yes, die. After years of nutritional deficiencies and parenteral nutrition and never having real food again without getting ill. It is not common but it can happen. Surgery is an insult to your body that you may not survive. Please consider…

Hi! I'm a mom of two girls (5 &9). I know exactly how you feel...It's hard to make healthy things everyone likes, especially if you are on a tight budget. I have about 30 pounds to lose. I stay home all day, so it's definitely harder for those who work! Add me for a friend if you want

I don't think you need a heart rate monitor, especially at first (unless your MD has said otherwise). You can check your own heart rate mid way through and see if your rate has reached maximum. If your heart rate is regular you can just count your pulse for 10 seconds and multiply by 6. That number is your rate. If it…

I am having the exact same problem right now! If you find a good answer, let me know! Cuz there's only so many beans you can eat in a week.

BeFit has a Jillian Michael's. Also, I kind of like Kendell Hogan. At least I can make it through his videos

I am probably not wiser than you but you can add me for support and motivation  . I am 31 and it seems like my metabolism drastically slowed after I hit 30. Anyway, feel free to send a friend request!

I'm 160lb, 5'6' and MFP set my calories at just above 1200 to lose 1.5 lb/week. I find it hard to meet that goal, even with exercise...and I am ALWAYS hungry. I think I might try for 1/2 lb to 1 lb per week instead. Also, sometimes the thirst impulse is mistaken for hunger, so staying hydrated is important.

You can add me. I need people to look at my diary and call me out when I eat twinkies and chocolate.

It seems like you have been doing a great job already! Keep it up. Just remember that you are young and the habits you develop now will likely stick with you for life. If you keep this up and don't quit, you will be thanking yourself when you turn 30 (trust me on that). And know that everyone has inherent value...and that…

You can do it turtleball!

I started last year and then quit...but now I am starting all over at square one and am determined to make it. I always go overboard, thinking I will exercise for an hour every day and eat only 1200 calories and I think it discourages me when I eventually fail. This time I am focusing on making some permanent lifestyle…

Ok...so I am not getting married in July and my last baby was 5 years ago...but I am starting the whole process over again. After leaving my job to be a stay-at-home mom I have gained quite a bit of weight. July is a ways off and I am sure that you will meet your goal if you stick with it!

I am in need of support as well. I started last summer but after about a month I just sort of let things go. But not this time! I can't even find a decent picture of me to add on my profile...i have a double chin in all of them :( You can add me as a friend if you want. I am new to this part of the app as well. I am…

You can add me. I did the same thing- started last year and then stopped. We can encourage each other!
