@jemhh thank you for that article! A bunch of it resonated with me. Maybe I'll rock my shorts at the gym more often!

I lift almost everyday. It has changed my life and my body. Would love some like minded friends! Add me!

That's great! I'm on here everyday and workout 6 days a week. You can add me if you'd like.

I've been doing this for a year and a half and I can see changes but not as much as everyone else. You see yourself everyday so it's hard to notice. Go back and look at pics of when you were bigger and you'll see it. I feel like I will always be a work in progress so I don't really feel the scale goals make me feel better…

Congratulations on your weight loss! I've been on MFP awhile and it's helped me lose and keep off 50 lbs. keep at it!

You can do it! I have 2 kids and it took awhile but I did it! I have minimal stretch marks but that's about all that's left. Here's a pic:

It happens. Your body gets used to the Meds and you don't have the side effect of loss of appetite. I was on it for a few years for migraines. I would lose weight then stabilize until the doctor increased my dosage and then I would lose my appetite again until my body adjusted to the dosage.

I am 5'3", 143lbs and am an American size 4. I have always been heavier than my size. Even in a group I participate in on MFP has a woman the same height and weight but is a size 10. It does make me feel insecure about my weight sometimes but you have to look at yourself and realize that it's just a number. Most people my…

I find that protein keeps me full and have that fuller feeling. Funny thing is, after a year of this, when I get that super full feeling, I hate it now. I had guests and a birthday party this weekend and I felt that super full feeling...it makes me not want to eat as much now, when before I liked that feeling. Maybe…

I love all the support and encouragement on this thread! I just joined the group! I'm a story of slow and steady and you'll get there. @Novileigh the best thing I ever did was start logging everything...good for you! It will make a big difference! Hope to gain some new friends in this group!

Hope your migraine is gone! Have a good day everyone!

I woke up this morning not feeling like working out. I opened MFP and saw that someone mentioned me on this thread. I opened it was so inspired I jumped out of bed to get that workout in. Thanks all! Please let me know if you start a group. The people in this thread seem so supportive!

I am almost at my goal but I love community and I still will need support when at maintenance. I still have 10 lbs to lose and I do p90x2 right now. I love Tony Horton! Even though he's cheesy he motivates me. OP congratulations on all your accomplishments! This weight loss will be the icing on the cake!

I'm from Delaware county. I'm about 30 minutes south of Philly. You can add me if you like. I put my name in the raffle for the broad street run. We shall see!

Breastfeeding didn't help me lose too much weight at first. I started watching what I ate and trying to be under 1700 calories and the weight slowly came off (about 15 lbs in 6 months). It wasn't until I added exercise that the weight came off quicker. Then when I stopped I had to figure out my new calorie expenditures…

Sending friend request. Im on here everyday and love new friends!

Most people don't wear their pants at your natural waist. You are probably wearing them below your natural waist and perhaps smaller there?

I'm 10-15 lbs away from maintenance. I thought I'd be happy at this weight but adjusted my goal to lower recently. Looking for friends in the same boat. Add me if you'd like

Hi. I have a 5 year old and a 22 month old. Been on this site for awhile but have about 15 more lbs to go. Add if you like

It took me about a year to decide to connect and it really helped. I've lost about 45 lbs and have about 15 more to go.

I do body beast with Dumbbells and love it! I've gotten so much stronger in 11 weeks. I have one week left then I'm taking a break and doing it again.

I'm almost finished body beast and need to find something new. I've increased my weights a lot and am so happy that I lift now. Add me!

If you look at her photos from 10 years ago when she was first photographed she had a nice, larger than average, but normal looking butt. Now it's just ridiculous. The picture comparisons are crazy. Shes the same size everywhere but her butt.

I always felt the same way about my weight...that my body likes a certain weight and it is so hard to get lower. This time around I just kept at it. I started doing a new lifting program (body beast) in September. I was 154 and the weight I thought my body "liked" was 150-155. My body did stall losing for about a month…

I started body beast 8 weeks ago. I was doing other strength training before but not as much as what body beast does. I have still lost 6 lbs during this time...(on a slight deficit) and "look" like I have lost a lot more than that. I love what body beast has done to my body. I have 4 more weeks, but I might do another…

15 lbs on a small frame like us, (I'm 5'3) will make a big difference! You are losing weight and doing great. Slow and steady is fine, especially if you don't quit! Don't look at the scale as an important way to track. A size 8 pant is a good size. Please keep at it!

Hi. I'm a mother of 2. My son is almost 5 and my daughter is 20 months. I'm 37 and am trying to get in the best shape I can. My body is very different after my second and hope to get as close as I can to prebaby body.

I love fall and all treats as well. Football is hard too with food. I can resist BBQ foods all summer but the food and activities that come along with fall is so much harder. My weight loss has slowed and it will only get harder until after the holidays for me.

My daughter was 9 months old and I went to get up to put her to bed and I had to push off with my hands to get up. I have always had a strong core and sit ups were never a problem. I realized I needed to start working out!

I lift! I am still eating at a deficit but I don't mind hearing about baconators...I live vicariously though others!
