In addition to moisturizing, try toning exercises esp. pilates and yoga, PiYo.

Yes, PB2 regular and chocolate flavor. Half the calories! Love it!

You can do it. I am 5'2", 56 years young. I lost 27 lbs and now at maintenance. I started in Sept 2013.
-
Desserts - cakes, ice cream, pies. I love sweets and I can't have just a small bite so I've substituted these with other foods!
-
You did good !!! Congrats !!!
-
What I can say is wow. Thanks for the inspiring story!

Great idea, plus you can buy bulk frozen chicken breasts that you can microwave as needed. Yogurt, low fat cheese sticks, and canned Tuna provide protein as well. I buy a lot of frozen veggies and fruit. I find these more cost efficient than fresh ones since less wastage.

What is PiYo? Very interested to know. Thank you.

A two year old! Maybe I'll aim for the cheese next. Darn I love cheese though. So I'll keep to maintenance and just keep that loss to a two year, a very big two year old. LoL

I think you can answer that - are you losing weight while eating X number of bananas a day?
-
Yes, I eat egg white too whenever I can. Low cal, high in protein and quite filling.
-
Great advice! Thanks! Yes, I find that eating more protein keeps me full longer and then I don't binge!

Congratulations and welcome to Maintenance. I am 5'2" and 56 yrs old, lost 26 lbs in 8 months, and now at 116 lbs. Have been maintaining for 2 weeks. I have been "zig-zaging" my calories to find the right level. But since I lost weight slowly, I think it'll be a work in progress to get to the right calorie maintenance…

Thank you for sharing. I will try this recipe!

Sorry but how does logging slow down your metabolism? If you feel its not right for you, go ahead and stop logging. Find something else that works for you. As for me, logging keeps me accountable. When I don't log, I find I miscalculate my calorie count.

I'm 5"2" too and needed to lose 25+ lbs. I did it in 8 months. Just takes time and patience. For me, moderation was the key. I didn't have to kill myself with excessive exercise or starve myself. I just had less of what I liked and substituted others and just walked. If I overindulged one day (usually on a weekend), I'd…

Hi from the West Coast!
-
Yes, yes, I eat the calories at the weight I WANT TO BE AT. That is the key. THINK and EAT like, and HAVE HABITS of, a thin person!
-
Wow! Very inspiring! I will think of you when I am feeling lazy!
-
Yeah, maybe this is the weight that is optimum for your body right now. Give it a rest for a week or so then try again.
-
Wow, A radiant bride! Congrats!
-
Well done! You look good - happy and healthy!
