Yes, this sums it up.

Same here. Gained back 10 of the 35 I worked so hard to lose. My fault - I let bad habits creep back in. Back to diligently tracking and ditching the sugar (this is my kryptonite). WE CAN DO THIS AGAIN!
-
Yes, you need to figure out your TDEE. Also maybe you should look at your macros. It might be that you are cutting out obvious carbs but how about hidden sugars and fats?
-
Lose the 7 lbs I gained these past 4 months.
-
Seriously? Might as well send doughnuts with your child since you decide whats good for them anyway, right?

"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." I too would like to join in... Goals for January: lose 7-10 lbs that I gained over the last 3 months. 1. Log everything. 2. Stay within calorie limit. 2. Drink 6-8 glasses of water. 3. Stick to my budget for week, month, year. 4. Eliminate as much processed sugar…

I have been having the same issues lately. I have been maintaining for the last 2 years and was doing pretty well but with the stress of the house move, I saw myself sliding and now we're settled in our new place. But I cant seem to get back into the routine. Help!

You look amazing! what an inspiration!

I'd like to join for less than 20 as well. Since I am short every lb weighs heavy on me. CW : 119 GW : 110

Count me in! Definitely would like to join in ! I gained some lbs back and would love to lose it all by September by the latest! Although my move is only to the next town, the stress of packing and putting stuff to storage is causing me to eat out more and going over my limit.:( I need to get back to my healthy routine.

I am 5'2", 117 lbs and over 50 with a small frame, I maintain at 1300-1400 calories per day. I mainly walk 30 min-1 hour per day. If I do more exercise, I add more calories, but try not to go over too much otherwise I gain for sure.

Whats the point exactly? I don't like blood pudding, but I don't trash people who eat it. Learn to live and let live. British don't have better taste than Americans. Get over it.

I use exercise yoga and pilates DVD's as I do not have time to go to the gym. My goal is to lose some lbs, tone and be fit. Since I only wear a sports bra and shorts when I exercise at home, I don't really care what other people on the DVD wear, unless it is blatantly obscene or improper.

Same here. When we lose weigh, we lose some of the "insulation" (Fat). Just keep a sweater handy. I have a pair of gloves with me all the time since I feel the cold in my hands first.

Just one word comes to mind - WOW! Simply WOW!

Try the Vega One, All-In-One Nutritional Shake. This is what I drink. Lots of good stuff without dairy.

Awesome! Happy New year indeed!

I too have superslim ankles. But I'd rather have those than swollen ones

I am maintaining for 5 months now. I try to eat healthier and limit processed foods, gluten and sugar. I don't log my food as often but still try to keep within the range. I weigh myself often though, so that is my guide. It is a work in progress. So don't be scared to try different approaches. Good Luck!
-
I weigh regularly only because I want to keep myself accountable and not let the weight pile up. Do what works for you to ensure that you keep within your maintenance range. good luck!
-
I was diagnosed with a metabolic disorder. My diet depends entirely on what I can eat. It might not make sense to some other people so I keep it private for now. But I would like to stay with the MFP community to stay healthy and keep my weight stable. I've been maintaining for the past 4-5 months.

you are an inspiration!

Yes, i think that eating more frequent but smaller meals can keep you from getting ravenous and going over your calories! I try to do this too. If I wait too long before meals I get very hungry and eat way over my limit.

Try having some healthy snacks ready for you when you get home - cut up some fruit, veggies in the fridge. Have some fruits handy such as apple, bananas, etc. on the kitchen counter in plain site. Hide or dispose of all sugary snacks. And if you still feel like having some sugar snack or chips, drink a glass of water first.

I'm 5'2" and am in "maintenance" at 116-117 for past 4 months. 154 lbs was my heaviest. Was at 145 when I started on MFP over a year ago. I have a small frame so my ultimate goal is around 114-115.
-
I've maintenance for the last 4 months now and find that I still have to keep track of my calories. I can't totally let go or I run the risk of gaining it back. I tried not to log for a few days and I found that I was under calculating my calories and kept going way over. Maybe some people can stop logging all together and…

Great advice!

Take it for what it is - a compliment. You should be happy that someone noticed your accomplishment. Leave it at that!
