Normally i am OK on the weekends, I may have one night that I go out for a few drinks / meal but other thna that I exercise, I keep within my calories. This weekend was acomplete mess though! I have been off plan since Thursday and I need to reign myself in. In fact my body is crying out for it's usual healthy food!

I was 500 over yesterday and probably the same today!! I will reign myself after today though. It was either be over calories or miss a friends Borthday [yesterday] and a friends leaving lunch [today] This is with exercise!!

Venice is fab - and it would just be plain rude not to partake in the glorious food whilst you are there !!! I portion control my carbs (weight pasta etc) but I couldn't cut them out totally. Cyprus is also lovely. We are off to the Canaries (picked a quiet resort on Lanzarote) for a week of sun and relaxation!

1lb away from GW, 1210 calories per day plus eat back exercise calories so I eat between 1300 - 1500 cals a day depending on how much exercise I do! [Going on holiday in 3 weeks]

What do you mean by negative calories? I eat a lot of these and they all still register on my food diary!

I'm almost there and the difference between losing 0.5 per week and maintaining is just 240 cals! Once I shift those last few lbs I'll up my cal's by the full amount. PS - congrats OP - well done you!

I log everything that is out of my ordinary routine (IE a big mammoth clean) I also log everything that is exercise (IE I walk for an hour a day - with my trainers on purely as exercise - it would take me 20 minutes on a bus LOL so I count that as part of my exercise!)

If you have a fair bit to lose then it is incredibly normal to see a big loss in the first week (or even first few weeks!)

I agree - your calories are set too low! Unless you up them eventually you loss will stop altogether.
