No advice from anyone :-(

I tend to live by 80/20.. (when I am on track - which I am clearly not at the moment !!) I'd be good 80% of the time, eat as clean as possible and try to limit carbs and avoid crap / alcohol BUT I'd go easy on myself for the odd meal. Based on the notion of 3 meals a day 80/20 would mean 3 meals a week you can be a bit…

I make sure I buy OH "treats" that I am not keen on so I am not tempted. I also don't buy crisps, they are my downfall

Our first baby is due in November, and for the time being we're happy just to be blessed with this little one.... I'd love another if we can though! I am very concerned about the OP though...... I am not sure MFP or motherhood is what she needs?????

Well done you !!! xxxx

Hi Berry, I started suffering about a year ago. You explain my symptoms exactly with the Aura, although as long as I take a painkiller I avoid the actual headaches. I cannot see for about 5 minutes and as my vision returns I get what I can only explain as "tunnel" vision - I feel like my vision returns but is still blurry…

Doh!!! I did indeed have it set on "show all" Right.... Breakfast: Peanut butter Wholemeal bread Petite Filous yogurt Lunch: M&S Olive Crackers Mexican chicken raw red peppers Afternoon Snack: Pomegranate seeds Strawberries Pineapple Dinner: raw red peppers New potatoes Rocket Dessert: M&S count on us choccie mousse M&S…

My most used is the same for all of my meals: Red Pepper Peanut butter M&S Black Olive Crackers This can't be right?

I am not going to gorge but I am not going to deny myself anything. I find these days though that a little of what I want suffices - although I am sucker for Prosecco and Bailey's [not together] and when I drink I do tend to nibble. I have planned my meals up until 28th but know that on Christmas Day and Boxing Day I will…

I usually have the whole festive period off but as we've moved offices I am so close now I have given the other people I work with first pick of holidays! I finish lunch time tomorrow for 4.5 days. I'll work 28th and then have 5 days off. I am back 3rd and 4th Jan then have 4 days off and back properly from 9th Jan. The…

What a wonderful year you have had hey? My year looks like this: Feb 2nd: signed up here May 8th; Stopped smoking End of June: Reached GW Rest of the year: Maintained. Not quite as dramatic as your year but I am so proud I stopped smoking without gaining any weight. 2012 is going to be all about exercise and fitness for me…

I'm in London - feel free to add me (this goes for anyone!)

You look amazing - in fact you looked fab in the stripey bikini LOL! Well done - you must be very proud! How much more do you want to lose?

I am having a bit of time off over Xmas - I'll still log - but I am not going to stress! I'll get back to it after a few days off !

I only started here the day I set out on my new healthy lifestyle so I have never seen my "old" calories. I do howeevr hate when i have been massively over (like 300+ cals) I'd have to be a 1000 over to see 2,200 though and I Have NEVER done that!

That is a very interesting point actually. I have gradually been stocking up with offers etc so we have lots of snacky food in for guests (and inevitably for us too!) but I need to stop now. We already have tons (Pringles, big tin of Roses, Peanuts etc plus 2 massive bottles of Bailey's!!) The more food we have the longer…

I have had the odd periods of being off exercise for one reason or another but I do have to really watch my calories. I will relax a little over the festive period but I will not have my usual blow out (which is normally eating crap and drinking a fair bit for weeks) It helps that I am working between Xmas and New Year so…

I have not managed to fully give up the wine (I am a Pinot Grigio girl) and although I have cut back I still have on avarege a bottle a week. For me it's not that booze that is the trouble but what I eat when I drink. I find if I have a few glasses of wine I get the munchies but if I keep some low cal snacks on hand then I…

I twas purely coincedental but I stopped taking the pill in Mid Feb (and I signed up here on Feb 2nd) I had no side effects that I can recall. Have you been poorly hun? I don't suppose there in any chance you may have conceived?

I set up my OH's email accounts LOL! He doesn't know mine but could probably guess (or guess closely enough but maybe not get the exact passwords) My work passwords change every few months
-
I plan my food as far in advance as possible! Obviously I have some wriggle room but I find using my diary to plan as opposed to log is the main reason I have been succesful.

Congrats on reaching your goal weight. I have lowered my GW a few times but have been pretty much where I want to be for months now. I flit between maintenance and having my goals set to lose 0.3lbs a week. Basically that is between 1280 cals per day and 1460 per day [before exercise!] I also flit in and out of exercising…

Blimey - you look great OP! Well done on giving up the smoking and getting in shape. I did it the other way round, I lost my weight and then gave up smoking. I am proud to say I haven't gained a single lb since I stopped 6 months ago :-) I do still need to get in shape so I am back to working out, but I am happier and…

100lbs is too thin for me and I am only 5ft 1in!

I've had Nando's a few times and stayed within calories! Their Halloumi is lovely :-)
-
It's not a healthy diet at all OP. Sorry but where is your fruit, salad and veg?

I've been with my OH for 4 years and we've lived with each other for most of this time. I am a firecracker and fly off the handle pretty easily but calm down pretty easily. (So for example I may snap at the OH for leaving the dishes in the sink while he plays in the PS3 but within seconds I will apologise for snapping and…

My dinner is always my 'biggest' meal - I eat about 8 / 8.30pm and have been around my goal weight for months now. I do however eat little and often through-out the day to make sure I never feel 'starved'

Garlic bread.... I used to have it at least 3 times per week and now I rarely indulge. Other than that nothing is 'banned' but of course I keep an eye on what I eat. I try to stay as healthy as possible as much as I can!
