I commute an hour each way so am often out of the house for 11 hours a day!!! It is hard going BUT it can be done. At the weekends I try to prepare as much as possible in advance (I make a batch of healthy turkey curry / turkey mince chilli / mini meatballs) so I can just heat them up and make the veg / salad during the…

Gosh - I try to mix it up as much as possible but a few staples I always have include: Light halloumi Humous Peppers (red, yellow or orange) Cucumber Ham slices Eggs Kiddies yoghurt (petite Filous) I can always find some sort of snack out of that lot!

I've been here since Feb and been all but at goal weight since June. I have a had a few weeks when I have gone of plan (vacation, my Birthday week that I had off work) and whilst I have never gone back to my pre MFP habits, I have really relaxed the rules. Whilst it doesn't work for everyone I have found that I don't see a…

Awwww - what a lovely way to meet hun! Best wishes to you both! xxxx

My OH was my first love - we met when we were 15 and dated for 3 whole years. It was all very chaste to begin with (I recall winter nights sitting in the park, freezing our *kitten* off just so we could have a few sneaky kisses) but he was the guy I eventually lost my virginity to. I went off to Uni when I was 18 so it…

Who needs real friends when you can have virtual ones hey? LOL!! Do you speak French hun? I suggest with weightloss you take the 'little by little' approach - Rome wasn't built in a day as they say. Sorry that you feel so lonely but hopefully getting fit and healthy can be your new 'thing'. if you do not feel good in your…

My office is OK. We have a communal kitchen so people tend to either buy their lunch locally (sarnies and pasta salads), eat out our buy ready meals / soups etc that go in the microwave. People don't tend to leave many 'tempting' things laying around, it's normally just things like salad stuff / humous etc We used to have…

I have no will power so I will say either have a little or make sure you work out later to earn the calories back. Also try entering them into your diary before you have one and see if the calories are worth it. I often find seeing how calorfiic something is in black and white puts me right off!

You'll find a lot of people on here are absolute exercise fiends.. I am not one of them LOL! I actually believe that it's 90% about diet anyway and have lost my weight through what I eat not what I do. Welcome aboard hun xxxxx

I log my food as far in advance as possible - sometimes I plan the whole week !! Of course I chop and change a bit but I find this helps me with planning my shopping as well. I don't use the food diary as a log I use it as a planner. That way I can make healhtier choices. Also if I fancy something 'bad' I log it and that…

I have no pic's of me on here. Just a pic of my little furry baby LOL! (and some sunset shots but you can't actually see me !!)

I think the issue here OP is that *normally* when someone starts a thread about only being on 1000 cals or less they normally have an ED of some kind, or are in denial about the fact they may have an ED. Also these people usually have NOT received any medical guidence and have set up their calories manually. Basically they…

I turned 30 over a year ago - and gosh was it stressful. Also I was not on MFP then and I was about 20lbs heavier. I bit the bullet though and arranged a big party in a bar with a converted conservatory as I realised that I was going to turn 30 regardless of whether I celebrated or it or not.... It turned out to be a good…

I'm from Islington, London. Please feel free (anyone) too add me. I've bene here for a while now and am pretty much at goal weight :-)

As I am ultimately responsible for my health and wellbeing - it is up to me to motivate myself and make my own choices. When I feel like eating crap or not working out I remind myself of this very fact.. It doesn't always work (I do still eat some crap and I will istent o my body and miss a work out if I am tired) btut ont…

We're the other way around - kind of! My OH is convinced that every time he goes for #2, I go into the bathroom straight after him.. I may do coincidentally but not on purpose! He calls me the poop inspector :-( He always knows what I am up to as it's the only time I close the bathroom door - eeeek!

My GW has changed from 117, to 115 to 112 to 110. Each time I reached a goal I gave myself a new one. I am shorter than you are (5ft 1) but I know that it is time for me to maintain. My maintenance cals are only 200 more than what I have now anyway! I also plan to weigh fortnightly to keep myself in check. It is inevitable…

Exercise more to earn the cals, drink lower cal drinks such as vodka and diet coke, make sure you opt for healthy snacks - my current fave is fried light halloumi (75 cals for 30g). Do not feel guilty if you go over a every now and then - every day is a new day!

Wow - 112lbs (pretty much what I weigh now!) UGW 110lbs..

I weigh in on Friday's! Saw a gain after my holiday last month and haven't yet shifted it (it was only a 1lb gained though so I am not too fussed) Not sure what way the scale wil go tomorrow. No loss but no gain will do me just fine! Feel free to add me !

She's been body building for 3 years BUT recently shaped up in a short space of time for a competition. She look hideous in the DM pic's but I saw some different pic's today and she looks slightly better? (or slightly less bronzed!)…

I eat quite quckly but mainly as I am not keen on luke warm food !
-
I weigh my carbs now for this very reason - I always, always ate far too much pasta (and rice and potatoes) Or else bin it, the wasted food will make you feel less guilty than than actually eating it.

London here - feel free to add me!

i'm very proud to have you on my friends list. You've done an amazing job lovely. You look ravishing. X X

I moved in with my OH very quickly (after about 4 months!) and it took a fair bit of adjusting on both our parts. As others say you cannot change someone's habits (4 years down the line my OH is still a complete night-owl and rarely goes to bed before Midnight!) but you must have some mutual agreements in place. For…

If you do opt for a suppliment you need to also a take a vitamin C suppliment (iron is not absirbed if you have too little Vit C) I am not a fan of suppliments though, not when you can get what you need through a balanced diet.

Low cal hot chocolate or a snack size choccie bar or a low cal choccie mousse from M&S.
