Urg! I told myself I would not have a glass of wine till Thanksgiving. Well I did last night and gained. Why every time I drink a glass of wine I gain? I only gained a pound since Wednesday. I know all the yummy food didn't help but, I know if I did not have that glass of wine it might have just been a few ounces.

Proof that people should back away from dissecting nutrition.

That glass of wine is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

GLAD I READ THIS was REALLY TEMPTED BY WINE TONIGHT, PUT IT IN MY FOOD DIARY THEN TOOK IT OUT, REALLY WANT TO HAVE A NICE SUPPER TONIGHT, SO WILL HAVE A FEW WEAK SOUTHERN COMFORTS, DRAG OUT A COUPLE OF SHOTS OVER A FEW LIME/DIET LEMONADES AND LEAVE THE ROSE IN THE FRIDGE!

Especially if we are talking about a single glass!

I drink wine so regularly I bleed pure Merlot and yet I've achieved a steady weight loss. Just be honest about the glass size when logging the calories.

I have not managed to fully give up the wine (I am a Pinot Grigio girl) and although I have cut back I still have on avarege a bottle a week.

For me it's not that booze that is the trouble but what I eat when I drink. I find if I have a few glasses of wine I get the munchies but if I keep some low cal snacks on hand then I am OK !!

Snacks for me are: sliced red pepper and humous / a few cheese crackers / 30g light halloumi / slice of granary bread and a little light marge - all of which are under 100 cals.

I went away for a week and drunk wine every night, ate out every night and I gained 1lb !!!

I got straight back to plan after, as I always do when I have a bad evening / day or whatever.

Touch wood the occasional spluge as not been too detrimental to my weightloss!

I only drink a glass once a week sometimes only once every 2 weeks. I use to drink a glass every night, but that was when I had a hard time sleeping. I have noticed that every time I have ever had a glass is when I put on a little, but it's nothing HUGE that I know I can't lose, I'm not worried about it, I just wanted to know why does 1 glass do this? I drink Moscato which is white wine. Last week I did have a glass of Chocolate wine which has red wine in it and I still lost. So maybe it's the white wine?

Hilarious! I have stopped drinking for a bit because I find that when I drink, I eat badly. Once I'm back on track food wise, I fully intend to become reacquanted with my dear old friend Malbec.

This is my problem as well. And, if I've had way too much, then the next day I'not really in the workout mood and start feeling like anything greasy.
