What days do you work over the Chritmas period?
Our office is shut next week, so I'm "working" a half day from home tomorrow (AKA buying spuds and Brussels sprouts from the market) then I'm finished until 3 January 2012. How about you?
Edit: Wow, I really wish I hadn't misspelled Christmas in the title, I'm going to Hell for that!

The first time in over 20 years that I have been off for the complete Christmas and New Year period! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:0 -
I usually have the whole festive period off but as we've moved offices I am so close now I have given the other people I work with first pick of holidays!
I finish lunch time tomorrow for 4.5 days. I'll work 28th and then have 5 days off. I am back 3rd and 4th Jan then have 4 days off and back properly from 9th Jan.
The odd days in the office will break up the monontony of all that eating and drinking LOL!0 -

Today is my first day of 7. So working Christmas eve/day, boxing day right up until the 28th..then 3 days and come back for a few night shifts over new years...the joys of working in a hospital!0

I'm done at lunchtime today. Off until the 3rd. I have a client I see Friday mornings so I have to do that tommorrow. I also manage the maintenance of 3 properties for one of my clients, and have a meeting tommorrow afternoon about what work can be done while the properties are vacant over Christmas and New Years. I may have to do a few small jobs over that period, but I hope it's not much.0

I'm only off the 2 Mondays, December 26 and January 2. My husband is off December 23 and returns to work January 3. but only 4 of the days paid. 3 days no pay.0

I work 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) from home doing medical transcription from 2:30 am to 8 am, all year long except on my own scheduled vacations. So this will be the first "holiday" that I will have off because Xmas and New Year's falls on Sundays this year, my one day off a week. So as of 8 a.m. Saturday morning, I am off until Monday 1:30 am (filling in for someone else a little earlier).0

:grumble: I'm so jealous I work this Friday and have Monday off, but back at it on Tuesday. That is what I get for working in healthcare.0

I only get the weekend + Monday off for both Christmas & New Years =(

I do in-home estiamtes for new Windows, Roofing, Gutters, Attic Insulation. Its a slow time of year for our industry, people seem to be focused more on family than on home remodeling. But my schedule is open for appointments, so if a customer wants an estimate I'll go see them any day. Dec 25 and Jan 1 its unlikely I'll be working.
Having a decent month ...people have said 'yes' and made a purchase from me on 16 out of 36 appointments so far.0 -
Today's my last day before Christmas. I'm working Wed & Thurs next week, but don't expect anything too stressful to happen during the interstitial period and I'll be at home too.
Normal service will resume on Tues 3 January (although I'll be at home again possibly with a hangover )
