My weekday mornings are super hectic, so I like to buy a dozen eggs just to boil on Saturday or Sunday night. I will boil them all, peel them and put them in little plastic baggies so that I can just grab a couple and go. At nights, before I go to bed, I the following in the blender carafe: 4 oz each frozen strawberries,…

Oh, and this is SOOO true!! I didn't understand why limiting my sodium was so important until I started paying close attention... you'll be amazed at how much better you will feel and how less bloated everything from your hands to your ankles to your tummy will be.

Oatmeal is GREAT! And I know that sometimes the old fashioned oats are just not quick enough, but there are lower sugar instants out there that I absolutely adore. Try to vary up your veggies... try some roasted potatoes or a baked sweet potato in place of mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes will sneak up on you and destroy…

WHOA... holy yum!!! :noway: Thank you SO much!!!!

I would love to do it. I was at 3100 this week, so I think I could step it up a little more and make it happen!!!

Yes, I use pure liquid cod liver oil twice per day in my daughter's supplement juices (she has autism) and it has a DRAMATIC improvement on her ability to make and maintain eye contact, hold focus, etc. The difference in her really was night and day, in terms of her behavior before and after adding the cod liver oil. She…

I was super curious... but for some reason the link wouldn't copy and paste. :grumble:

They are fabulous at lunch!! Their garden vegetable soup with fresh pesto and chicken caesar is FABULOUS!!! But their breakfasts are ridiculous.
-
Yeah, they're terrible but they're so delicious. I hate them for that.

I'm gonna have some Honey smoked turkey and reduced fat swiss cheese with some Guldens zesty honey mustard on an Arnold Honey Wheat sandwich thins roll and some steamed lima beans on the side. A blood orange for dessert. Pretty excited about it... :flowerforyou:

This sounds WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you so much!

This was so awesome. I might print it out and hang it on my fridge.

I was the same way. And then, to top it off, I got the "shakedown" by one of the trainers there... he taught me a few exercises but it was all a sales pitch for absurdly expensive personal training schedules. I wish I could afford him, but I can't and I told him that... 15 times. And now, everytime I go in the gym (which…

I love it!!! My little girl did too... "Play it again, mama... pweeeeze...."

Yeah, it's so super fun. My sister and I went to a Zumbathon and there were people therewith absolutely NO rh ythm but they got the most high-fives because they DIDN'T CARE! They were having a blast, working up a sweat and feeling great. That really inspired me. Not only is it a really great workout but it makes you feel…

It's SOOO hard!!! If I allow myself my one treat, a small skinny vanilla latte, it pretty much caps my sugar out in one fell swoop. Stupid Starbucks...

ME TOO!!!! This is exactly how I became at my worst as well...

For me, it was a series of things. What I am learning is that I don't think I ever really claimed a great self-esteem. Liking myself was tough for me... and even when I found that I got to a place where I DID, I did "in spite of" lots of things. But where that was the root of it, I had a major trifecta... my only daughter…

I LOVE it with some kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. I tend to like it more savory rather than sweet. It's also GREAT in place of ricotta in vegetable lasagna or melted into mashed sweet potatoes.

So creative!!! I love it!! My guy and I are going to be Jack and Sally... I'm pretty excited about it... I will post pictures tomorrow!!! Happy Devil's Night!!!

I love to take some asparagaus, break off the woody stems and toss the spears into a bowl. Toss about a Tbsp of olive oil all over them and cover liberally with salt and pepper. Roast in a 400 degree oven for about 10 mins. Meanwhile, make a lemon vinaigrette by using the juice of half a lemon (or 1.5 Tbsp bottled lemon…

I second that!!! A good cheat day can do wonders for the mind AND the body, as it always seems to kick my metabolism back in.

Whoa! This is REALLY great! Thanks for the top, Foxxy!

I think that's why MFP works so well... it holds us accontable for ourselves and our choices. And all the buddies we make on here, as well... they keep you honest. It's a perfect formula. Congrats on getting back in the game!! If you need a friend, just let me know. :flowerforyou:

I'm in!! I'm currently at 195, and I would LOVE to be at 175 by Halloween... even before... my birthday is the end of September and all I really want is a CUTE outfit!!! :blushing:
