Thinking how I can't lose weight no matter how much I work out or eat right and it's killing me and my husband just pointed out that my shirts getting smaller...<cries>

I usually hit around 16-22k on a regular 30k on a busy day. It all depends on what your activity level is. Also, compare that to your calorie burn and heart rate. Where those steps taken while jogging or taking a quiet stroll. That's going to make a huge difference. Steps are a really important thing not to compare to much.

I drink MIO flavored water. I have a cup that has 32 oz of water and drink it down with a straw. Makes a big difference for me, otherwise I snack all day!

I prefer to cut most of it out but allow a treat every few days or so. I also educate myself on why I don't want to eat that type of food. I haven't drank soda for a few years and now it makes me rather ill, and I've heard the same thing about greasy and sugary foods. Get sick enough from it and you won't want it any more…

Yes I lost 11 lbs real quick but then nothing no matter how I stuck to it. I think it was just the shock to my system that did the most. But it really helped me see how much sugar I was consuming.
