The biggest problem is that most people confuse the Atkins diet with the Induction part of the Atkins diet The diet itself is sustainable - my opinion.

That's because it is not recommended that you have below 1200 calories a day, as it is not very healthy and it is counterproductive to weight loss. If you eat less than 1200 you are literally starving your body and what you do eat your body will hold on to. To lose weight faster just do more exercise :)
