PS: Gained 55 lbs with my son (but I was about 15 lbs underweight to start and then 28 lbs with my daughter. The 28 lbs fell off within 3 weeks just from nursing & chasing a toddler so I know the benefits of staying on track, if you can.

By the time Christmas comes this year, I'll have lost three close family members to cancer--one was a cousin only 9 years older than me. Agreed about Mondays...give yourself time to recover if you fell off over the weekend. I find end of week works great because if you see results, it helps to keep you on track over the weekend. :)

I weigh in weekly on Thursdays so will start recording here as well--"A" for Accountability! Sept 4.......................175.0 lbs Sept 11.....................169.8 lbs (I am loving "17 DD"!) My original short term goal was to lose 5% of body weight by Oct 1st--only 2 more pounds to go! Once I achieve that goal, I will…

It is the same for me--eating "clean", gluten-free (as much as possible), limited alcohol and at least 30-45 mins exercise most days. I've just started "17 Day Diet" and it is working wonders...lost over 5 lbs this week. Not sure if it would be sustainable long term, but it seems to be getting me past this plateau I've…

My whole life, I was the girl who tried to GAIN weight because I had trouble with collapsing lungs due to being too thin. Fast forward to two kids, my late 30's and a…
