  • Personally I keep mine at 1500 because I find that if I eat 2500 or more I retain a lot of water and that is not good for me since I am already on a baby dose of a diuretic for blood pressure. It is personal choice, but I think that 2500mg is the daily recommended based on a 2000 calorie diet.
  • This is perfect! Just what I was looking for! Thanks so much!!
  • I'm 25 going into my senior year of college this coming fall and also want to lose the weight. 2010 was a rough year because my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lymphoma and I was told (by her) to stay in school and to not worry. Well of course I did one of the two things she asked me. I worried. A lot. Especially going to…
  • My response for those that say that the calories are so low it doesn't matter...would you say that about .5lb weight loss? or even a .2lb loss? They'd rather say that they didn't lose weight when they actually did? However small? Little things add up. Apples at 95 calories add up, and so does .2lbs. JMHO
  • Drink a lot of water to flush out all that salt intake. If anything that will be your hinderence in a weigh in. I know when I eat something salty and don't drink enough water to flush it out, my fingers swell up within 6 hours or so from the extra fluid.

I love to bake so anything that I can replace the processed flours with I am willing to try. (I love substituting applesauce for oil and eggs in some of my baking...and it still would come out just as good!…
  • Kicking out the refined is the goal! Thanks for the input! :)
  • Thanks! I will definitely look at pinterest! Great encouraging post :D
  • I didn't say there was. I said I was looking at lowering the processed and refined carbs.
  • ^^^Cheers :drinker:
  • ^this. I've been there too, and he knows he made a mistake, and he is trying as hard as he can to prove to me that he loves me, and I am the only one he wants to be with. (however, my situation is a tiny different as it wasn't physical cheating but rather online messages.) Honestly, and I know I probably will get negative…
  • Yep, as i was working out i was wiggling my toes to wake them up lol! I do lift my heels as another poster suggested. I've been needing new shoes anyways--these ones are old and not very supportive. They aren't tight though and I don't tie them extremely tight. Thanks all. Just more of an excuse to go shopping :D
  • Love your body. Embrace your body. Focus on what you love about it and forget about what you hate or want to change. Its the only one you are going to have so fuel it, live it, love it. Look at articles on how to correctly dress your body shape, and what tricks can be made to balance out your hips. I consider myself a pear…
