Thank you very much! I made a decision to only eat "whole" foods. I cook 99% of my meals (sneaking off to eat at restaurants occasionally while still avoiding as much processed food as possible) you might consider my dietary intake to be low carb / high fat. Foods I eat on a weekly basis are eggs, bacon, avocado, grassfed…

I can't reply to each one of you but I'd like to thank you all for the nice compliments. I really appreciate them! I didn't expect this much attention. As far as the "how", well it's really quite simple. I eat food that I cook at home. I walk as much as I possibly can and I ride my bike up as many hills as I can find. I…

Same here, my husband is considerably smaller than I am (different bone structure). I don't know that I'll ever fit into his jeans but I hope to fit into some of his t-shirts some day.

I am blown away! I plan on starting my weight training pretty soon. Very inspiring!

Woohoo! Awesome work, Samstan101!! Way to go!

That's incredible! And I know exactly what you mean about avoiding cameras. That's actually part of what got me to such an unhealthy weight because I was in denial of my own appearance. It wasn't until I saw a photo that my sister-in-law took of me that I really decided that I needed to change. Anyway, congrats on your…

I plan on losing 42 lbs by Christmas! If all goes well I'll have lost a total of 112 pounds by that point. Merry Christmas to me!

@tdugger_resa, I'm 25 years old and I have the same weight loss goal as you do. I've lived a sedentary lifestyle my whole life up until 4 1/2 months ago when I decided that enough was enough. I've lost 64 pounds in that short time span and I plan to lose at least another 109 pounds. If I can do it, anyone can. The key for…

That's an EXCELLENT point. Don't use weight loss as a road to loving yourself. Love yourself now and reaching your goals will be much easier.

I've lost 62 pounds in a little over four months by following a 2 step program: 1) Learn basic nutrition facts and decide that you're not going to fill your body with junk/processed foods anymore. 2) Walk Do this, and you're set for life.

AMAZING!!!! I'm blown away. I can't wait until I'm at the 9 month mark. I'm currently in month #4 and I feel like I'm doing pretty well. Hopefully I'll be able to post my own amazing transformation 5 or 6 months from now. Again, you are AWESOME!

As far as bacon being fattening... I'd jut like to say that 4 1/2 months ago I started eating more and more bacon (and other whole foods that are stigmatized as being unhealthy/fattening such as grass-fed butter, eggs w/ yolk, ect.) and I've lost 61 pounds since then. I eat bacon and eggs cooked in bacon fat (along with "2…

I'd be happy to cheer you on! I've lost 27 pounds by eating organic veggies and other whole foods (bacon, eggs, beef, chicken, turkey) and walking one mile a day on my treadmill. I'm new at this weight loss battle but if there's anything I can do to help I'm here for yah. :D

A true inspiration!! Your story is especially meaningful to me because I'm 25 years old, 5'4 and my weight is currently 286 (Lost 27 pounds in the last two months) I'm trying to get to 140. I've given myself 14 months to lose all the weight (looking forward to July 2014! Next swimsuit season!) Its really motivational to…
