I love them!

Obviously you haven't seen the thread about drinking a whole cup of heavy cream. That's one way to do it.

I love asparagus. What I don't love? Two words: asparagus pee. Yeah, I said it. You can't unread it. Or unsmell it. In other news, I really like this post. Thanks for posting something helpful and rational and all the things that a post on MFP should be. I await the loud noises that are bound to follow.

Awesome. Pure awesome.

You guys are making me so hungry. Dirtiest food I've ever had: the fried oreos and fried twinkies on Fremont Street here in Las Vegas. Oh dear god. Nothing healthy about those bad boys, but LORD they were delicious.

I think this is the liftingheavy kid. New profile, probably created today, and *strong* first post. Hahaha. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid. Okay, I'm done.

I actually think the Saul Goodman spinoff could be great. It would be a different show altogether, and Saul is one of my favorite characters. It would also possibly be set in the past. Anyway, spinoffs can work! Look at Frasier. :)

Hahaha yesssss! I love that scene so much.

Success Kid wins again! Seriously, though, sloppy joes are a disaster with me. White shirts are banned on Sloppy Joe Day.

Welcome! MFP is a great resource. You'll do great! :)

Perfect.

Same page. I eat lots of whole veggies and fruits, meat and seafood, nuts, berries, etc. I also occasionally drink a soda and eat a burger. I just try to get enough protein, fat, and carbs along the way. It works for me. I would never tell someone to eat like me, but I understand if they do. It needs to be sustainable, and…

Hey, way to use Google to copy and paste an irrelevant answer. Maybe my teacher instincts are buzzing here, but I have a feeling that you were a plagiarizer in school (that is, you are a plagiarizer in school. Now. Because you're obviously a teenager).

Except no, that's not what she was saying. She was being sarcastic in response to your misguided insistence that Pop Tarts are somehow inherently related to the principles of IIFYM.
-
Classic failure to understand sarcasm. Made me laugh.

The macros preached around here are only a template if you use them without investigating what kind of macronutrients are recommended for your particular situation. Fortunately, I think that these forums tend to encourage that kind of research, so the hope is that not everyone is simply copying a standard template. There…

LOL at the people calling IIFYM a fad. Because the basic principles of caloric deficits and proper nutrition via macronutrients is totally a fad. Totally. Also, everyone who espouses IIFYM only eats junk food all the time. Just shoveling those Big Macs down their greasy throats, followed by a cocktail of soda and blended…

I like how this is just copied and pasted from Beachbody. AWESOME.

People are being rude because you're suggesting that diet pills are a legit way to lose weight, and most of us vehemently disagree with that. Instead, why not try a healthy, sustainable diet and some exercise? Sounds crazy, I know.
-
Exactly this.
-
Exactly. And it doesn't teach you a damn about nutrition.
-
ESPECIALLY if you get your hands on some of Walter White's blue crystal. That *kitten* is DOPE, yo.
-
^^^This. In my limited experience, the effects of diet pills don't last, and they don't create lifelong habits. *Highly anecdotal evidence in 3...2..1....* My aunt and my good friend both got addicted to diet pills. At first, they were GREAT. Oh man, it gave them tons of energy and they were never hungry and they would be…

I think one of the reasons why people are responding kind of harshly is because you said that you are NETTING 1000 calories. It doesn't matter how much you eat every day if you're not eating back exercise calories. That's dangerous behavior, and people want to make sure that you know that. Don't be offended--take heart and…
-
You will! But one thing that you have to understand is that when you net below BMR (especially significantly so), your "weight loss" will include a lot of muscle. You want to lose fat, not muscle, even if that means a smaller "loss" on the scale. Make sure you measure yourself to get an accurate sense of how you are…

You can do that while also maintaining a healthy numbers of calories. Think about it: Halloween is 15-ish weeks away. Even if you only lost 1lb a week (totally doable), that's 15 lbs that won't be on you anymore! That's awesome. But if you overdo it and eat far below your BMR, you will be losing a significant amount of…
-
Obviously losing 3 lbs a week is too aggressive, probably not sustainable, and will likely result in metabolic damage. But you don't want to hear that, right? You asked the question to get affirmation for eating 1000 calories a day, and unfortunately you'll probably get some of that. I think that, as others have said, you…

Thought I'd find you on here posting that same ol' South Park pic. Way to keep it fresh.

Hahaha! Awesome. I'm jealous.

I'll eat your leftovers. No problem.
