I agree with this. I crave carbs and sugar and yes it is difficult to not eat it. And yes it does make me feel less than great when I eat deep fried stuff. There is no moderation because when you eat it you crave more. The only way is to cut it out almost entirely.

Maybe I am too trusting but I think he just wanted someone to talk about weight loss to. People rarely support another person's weight loss goals and the gluten thing worked for him so he was sharing.

MFP gives me 1200 calories per day and I set my lifestyle to moderately active. I can hit it IF I don't snack and drink water only. (and coffee in morning). Meat and veggies for dinner are key. Bye bye most sauces. This is not to say that I don't go over. It is almost always the snacks (that I don't really need) that do it.

I do some yoga first thing in the morning to help warm me up for the day. Not enough that its going to torch calories but it helps flexibility and gets me to move.

Yes this makes perfect sense. In fact maybe I should go buy something nicer to work out in....

I think the proof is in how much weight you have lost. CNN definitely wants people to remember their segments and you did just that. Don't let a sensational news story worry you. You are working out and losing weight. You are fine.

onions. I used to pick them out and now I add them to (almost) everything.

I agree with this concept.

If you aren't over on your calories for the day then it's all good! I find it difficult to stay under my calories. Not impossible but difficult.

Unsweetened iced tea with fresh lemon works for me. Also I find water tastes better if it is over ice. Then it is actually great. One more option would be something like a Brita water filter; I found that to be amazing when I had one (moved and lost it.)
