Add me, I'm only a touch under 6ft and love having tall pals!

I'm 46 and have almost reached my goal weight after many years of sabotaging myself. Started the gym more seriously in my late 30's, but still struggled with my diet until recently. I was either full ON or, very naughty! But I am in a great head space now, and have dropped 4 kilos just this year...which I can't believe as…

hi Monic and great to see you are motivated to begin. Brilliant! While it's good to break down a goal into bite sized pieces (100 days), it's also good to remember this should be Lifestyle Change - something you can continue with long term. Remember....Moderation is key. Meal Sizes/portion control. Don't overeat. Avoid…

nice! You look amazing and agree with most commenters here a huge improvement with bulk and a la natural. Well done! Beautiful.

what she said. I find that by using weights, and going heavy, I burn burn burn way more fat and feel amazing for the next 24 hours. So I'd like to encourage you to definately do both, and include heavy weights. good luck.

i'm almost 6ft and can relate to this. People don't seem to notice if you've put on weight, which can lead to being in denial (OH I look okay!). I got up to 89 kilos at my heaviest (and non pregnant)....was a 38d...lost weight, now am 76 kilos and 36b. Losing my boobs :-(( My goal is about 75 so almost there...but still…

I can relate to this. It's a double edged sword...cos on the one hand I think it's great to be happy in our own skin, and feel sexy and acceptable....but on the other we are kidding ourselves and should do better for our health's sake. Definately in denial...the thinking "Oh I'm not doing too badly...I look okay".....isn't…

inspirational story thank you for sharing. Wow. You are heading into an amazing journey in 2014. Well done to to you! Freaken wow. I am inspired!

hi there feel free to add me...it's great being accountable and MFP is pretty good for that. Just keep logging your food so you can keep track - exercise is great, but it's more about what goes IN YOUR MOUTH than anything else. Good luck.

i think you look awesome and my advise is to always avoid invasive treatment whenever possible. This means staying away from surgeons - as far away as possible! - complications occur too frequently. Unfortunately we always envision the best outcomes...and the medical establishment are quick to take your $money$ and gloss…

CHOCOLATE chicken chips almonds sometimes. so i stay away from the first two when I am being a saint....which will begin again in August! almonds I just try having only 6 or so.

I'm not weighing in these days either - I know if I've behaved and I am so much calmer and happier without the scales dominating that. Your conscience and your clothes should be able to speak to you louder....for me this is a more nurturing way than the scales and those numbers - which are never accurately going to tell…

I figured out today that I am on schedule to qualify for my 3rd consecutive and FREE holiday with my business - it's the annual Rewards Trip. This year we are going to Langkawi, Malaysia.....in October. I cannot wait!

we were away on a holiday with a big group of women/friends, a few of us decided to go horse riding. We travelled in the bus 45 minutes to the horse riding place, and the guys running the rides asks one of the girls in our group.... to stand on the scales (!!!)....he explains that anyone over 80kilos can't ride their…

yes - that's exactly what I thought too!

One of my husbands male friends exclaimed upon meeting me for the first time "lovely to meet you - you are not too skinny, that's a good thing....I don't like skinny girls". lol. Also, as I am in the fashion business, one customer said to me "I like buying from you as I can see how the product looks on a 'real' woman...cos…

Try using only ONE egg - it's how I make it and you still get two pancakes and they are delish. x

I did this and don't have pics either but it was great. I feel as though my legs are much more muscular, especially quads...omg they are amazing now. I did a lot of these with a barbell too - mix it up and have fun - it's very do-able! cheers.
-
excellent! well done. amazing progress and results.

be careful of dried fruit as it's loaded with sugar.... but I disagree, I like all things dried including the most ugly dried fruit of all - BANANAS! omg they look like poison but are great lol!!
-
Agree with this - I made these and they were gross - had to throw them out.
-
No I don't suggest you avoid all fruit - some are lower in sugar than others....what I said is that 1-2 servings of fruit a day is sufficient - and avoid processed/packaged items with sugar content above 5g per 100g/serving. If -You - Want. Do some research. This is simply what I do - after reading a few good books on the…

This! ^^^^^ Our bodies are not designed to digest and deal with the amount of sugar that is in our diets today. .... I avoid anything that is over 5g of sugar per 100g/serve. Eat the real deal....avoid low fat foods which are often loaded up with sugar - avoid added sugars and adding sugar to cuppas... 1-2 pieces of fruit…

raw chocolate or protein.

good for you - well done!~

if you are anything like me....you are simply A DAY OR TWO away from feeling good about yourself again. If I am neglecting my diet and eating crap (cos I like /love junk food) I hate my body and feel so FAT. But it seems to only take a couple of days of healthy and respectful eating, and I feel wonderful again - sexy and…

I met a woman who had hypnotherapy to BELIEVE she had had the surger.... and she lost oodles of weight. I've also met a bunch of women who've had the surgery and have said "if you don't fix what's going on in the head first, you ain't fixing anything". Many of those women put the weight back on again....one had her…
