Are you on the pill?

if I do get hungry late at night (we eat dinner around 4 when my husband gets home) I find a 90 call yogurt, or 100 cal pack of almonds, or string cheese does the trick and I'm satisfied. I hate going to bed hungry!
-
Lexapro was also the worst for me, I gained so much weight that I'm still trying to lose. No matter what I did, gym or weight watchers, I gained and gained.
-
I had the same experience with wellbutrin so I told my doctor and he switched me to Effexor, now I can lose weight as long as I stick to my healthy eating
-
I have skinless boneless chicken breast but I'm not sure what to do with it yet! still a few more hours to decide so I'm checking back here!

I haven't figured out how to adjust the seat except for up and down =/

Hey Everyone and thanks so much for the great advice! Besides my tush hurting all morning, I got back on my bike and followed some pointers you all gave me. @BrianSharpe I watched that youtube video and it explained how high your seat should be to ride comfortably, turns out my seat was way too low causing me to crunch my…

I could just hug you right now. since this was the first day with my bike I think I'll read my manual and see what it does!
-
Really? Thank you!!
-
I figured out how to post the photo =] I had it on 3 I think on the left and 5 on the right, seemed to be a little easier to start, not sure what the right handle is but the left I learned it takes less energy to petal on 3. Don't I just sound like a seasoned professional biker?? lol

Here she is!

Thank you so much for being so welcoming! I sure feel like a newbie now looking at that thread! Such amazing goals!

Thanks for the amazing advice! I suffer with anxiety and depression, and every day is usually a struggle to stay calm, and really riding in the beautiful weather felt so freeing and relaxing. I really think it made a huge difference in my mood
-
Thank you you're awesome! We did have to stop and start a few times to adjust the seat and the speeds on our bike to see what worked best for us. It's been about 15 years since either of us were on a bike so we sure have a lot to learn and get used to, but we're excited about it. The weather in NY has been so beautiful…

Well we did about 2.5 miles and after that our legs felt like jello. Keep in mind we have only started becoming more active in the past month, we are both trying to get out in the fresh air more and exercise together, so I know rome wasn't built in a day. I will just push through the pain and see if we get used to it :)

I like both, alone and with my husband. My husband and I just purchased our first bikes and we rode around town tonight and it was so nice to spend time with just him and no phones or distractions (except the car I almost hit, and the dog I almost ran over...)
-
Just my opinion, it's something that would never last for me. I have to actually enjoy exercising (like riding my bike around town) in order to commit to it. Being screamed at my JM was not doing it for me

Darn, disconnected from other apps I had and still no luck :(
-
Thanks! I just checked and I do have Withings connected to MFP, should I try shutting that off? (Which would suck since I love having my weight automatically logged)
-
I hated it and was miserable during the entire first day =(

I am in LOVE with my Fitmiss Vanilla Chai, it's amazing alone or with banana!
-
I just got the fitmiss cookies and cream protein powder and I add banana milk and ice to blend it up, super good! I also love the strawberry cheesecake yogurt from light and fit for a late night snack
-
my husband calls them white balls lol
-
I use the Withings scale, it connects with mfp and has an app!

I have bad anxiety as well and I run my own business so I never stop working. However I have been making time for myself and taking my dogs walking (all 3 60lb dogs!) by myself everyday for about 25-40 minutes twice a day. I find it clears my head and gives them exercise too so it's a win win!
-
ice water and plenty of protein has been doing the trick for me. I'm fuller longer, but when it comes time to eat my meals I'm hungry for them
-
There's no way for any of us to know how many inches you would lose, but calorie counting is more important
-
WOW!! You look SO much younger and so incredible. Job well done, such an inspiration!

Amazing!! WTG!!
