I just make the best guess I can, I mean that's all you can do, and sometimes you will be over and sometimes under so I think in that way it does balance out. Calories in certain types of foods can really vary depending on some of the ingredients or the brand so I just give it my best estimate.

My boyfriend said something along the lines of this to me, I knew he was totally right, and he wasn't saying that to be mean or anything. After that I got the motivation and have lost 17+ pounds (haven't weighed in a few weeks)

Agreed here the scale can fluctuate so much. Eating and drinking water really do add about 3 pounds for me. Yes really! :) Skinny girl! I bet you only weigh that much because of muscle. You look awesome. How tall are you? Oh I just noticed your guess. Nope not even close. lol Although at that weight I would be extremely thin for my height I think.

You're experiencing water weight more than likely, because it's near impossible to actually fluctuate that much. The best time to weigh yourself is in the morning, after going to the bathroom, and before eating anything.

In that little amount of time, that much weight loss is great! My doctor hasn't said anything about my weight to me, I know I was in the overweight range but since losing weight I'm less than 5 pounds overweight now. Well I get cravings for sweets majorly, and I let myself have some. I find that if I have dark chocolate I eat less than milk chocolate. Quit drinking soda. Started eating breakfast. Cut out white bread (unless at a restaurant) Started eating fruits and veggies as a part of my daily life.

Coming from experience as a high school senior currently, what they have done for public schools is merely decreasing the amount of calories of the food by giving us less. The school food is still absolute junk, we are just fed less of it.
