Yes!!! Swimming WILL be difficult. But that's why it's a challenge. I'm down ;D
-
yeaaaaahh, my back and arms actually look pretty defined now. and half a year ago I could barely do one push up and now I do like fifteen of those with clapping in between in one session. HAH. SUPER-WOMAN! ;D Anyone else really into cross fit? That stuff is awesome. Makes you so freaking strong. Stupid scale, I don't want…
-
Yup, it's the same scale! But I just realized that I 'only' gained 6 and a half pounds. (sorry, I still suck at converting kilos and pounds, although it's so easy technically) ....that COULD be muscle mass mostly, in three months, right? I honestly wish I could get my body fat measured somewhere but most gym don't offer…

I'm not a swimmer, and I've never learned any techniques, so that's the problem. I think I will take a private lesson to do that. And then keep that workout in mind. Thanks!
-
I don't mind weighing my food, it's weighing myself that I have problems with.
-
I've never tried, but I'm pretty sure I could eat at least ten if I wanted to. Now whether you SHOULD eat that many eggs... dunno ;)
-
sweet, I'll check it out. Thanks guys!
-
That's good, cause I already called dibs. Well, now I did, anyways. Haha, well, doing laps sounds quite smart... I was hoping for something a little bit more specific though. Thanks anyways!

Once you get into a regular routine though and have exercised for a while, you definitely don't need that many rest days. I usually workout six days a week. Professional athletes several times a day. Just make sure you rest in between your workout sessions and that you refuel and hydrate properly. Your body will give you…

Sorry you can't run though. Running has to be the most wonderful thing on earth.
-
I hope you guys know I'm going to bump this throughout the day until all the Americans wake up too. So you guys can look at that picture. And maybe suggest a kick-*kitten* workout for me.
-
Swimming, biking, the elliptical. ^ all low-impact exercises, whereas the first and the last give you awesome total body work-outs.
-
If I had that kind of money, I'd definitely get one in the blink of an eye. Because, how cool would it be to say, you have your own personal trainer? DANG I WISH I WAS A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE. Or dating one. ;D
-
Honestly, I think it's all about attraction, attitude and self-confidence. Just being skinny won't make guys want to be with you. If you're carrying a couple of extra pounds, but carry them with confidence, you'll probably come across a thousand times more attractive and interesting than a skinny girl who doesn't.

Kay, one vote for California, one for Miami. How will we settle this? We should both be scouts looking to get famous athletes to use our dating app. THIS WILL BE GREAT.
-
Haven't heard of that site before! Just claimed my two race results though. That's pretty dope.
-
New thought: running outside, personally, makes me a better runner. Like one of the posts below me states: you can get off a treadmill any time... Much too tempting! I'd rather run six miles into one direction, get tired and then be like.. crap, gotta get back to that wine and cheese and new episode of GOT waiting for me…

Well, if I'm going to work from home, I'm afraid it'll have to be in Europe. I WOULD be willing to move to the States though if somebody offered me a place to stay at his or her penthouse in NYC or mansion in San Francisco. Maybe we should move it to SF. Seems like the place to be.

* Definitely have breakfast about 2-3 hours before the race. Maybe some oatmeal with a banana and a tbsp of peanut butter. * Hydrate well DAYS before the race. Also make sure you get enough sleep the nights leading up to the race - so in case you don't sleep that well the night before, it won't be as relevant. * If you do…

Don't forget coffee. We'll need coffee. Oh, and wine of course. To stay inspired.
-
Yikes, add me too - tore a ligament in my ankle more than two and a half months ago. The recovery's been sloooow and painful! I could use some motivation as well!
-
I was more thinking you guys could fund me and I develop the app! :D Unless you're a player in the NBA or have a bunch of professional swimmer-friends you can convince to download the app once it comes out. Let's do this! :D
-
Hahaha I just thought it'd be a fun idea. Or maybe not even dating - more like, an app to find training partners. I'm sure that's out there already too. Dang.
-
You're welcome! Can I get a list too?!?!
-
YES YES YES. Here's a list. * white wine * sunny days * rainy afternoons * good film adaptations * cross fit * eating colorful salads and then stuffing my face with chocolate * hiking on top of a really high mountain in Vietnam and then screaming at the top off my lungs * riding elephants is pretty dope too, although more…

Fancy. Can I borrow it ?

I'll measure myself when Americans decide not to use inches and feet anymore. I only have an American measuring tape and I'm sick of having to convert my measurements to centimeters. :grumble:

At this point, I would like to CLARIFY MY STANCE... I most definitely do consider people who run on treadmills to be runners. But not if they do it exclusively, because I'm just pretty sure that means they're only running to exercise, and FOR ME.... (absolutely NO judgment whatsoever).. what I consider to be a real…

I don't want to weigh myself, please don't make me
